the rear is WAY too low in that pic--but i like the price and the quality from what I can see---when are these available? Now?

ALso--any news on the rates yet? It would be helpful to know what rates they are and compare them to other rates to give everyone an idea how "stiff" these suckers are...

kind of like geico---lol

We actually have our stuff made by the same people that do the NEX Corporation coilovers. But, ours are "Drift Spec".

The ones in those photo's from Ebay are the"Street Spec" lineup, and don't offer near the level of performance ours do. THey are the el cheapo's. Not bad, but I wouldn't recommend them for durability.

Plus, you will also notice that the bottoms on those photo's aren't made for the 240SX. I think those photo's are from a Honda Coilover.

2 inches in the front and 2 1/2 in the rear is too low for me could it be adjusted to say 1 1/2 front and rear?

ummm yeah since they are fully adjustable.

I have a set of these and they work really well. the spring rate is pretty stiff, i mean rebound is immediate even with the dampeners set pretty soft.

dampers?!

these are dampening adjustable too? Damn--i must have missed that--you cant beat an adjustable dampening coil for 699--im getting these as soon as I can afford it.

hm...i've never really heard anything about NEX products, but i've always kinda taken them to be on a pretty low pedestal...maybe you'll have to send me a set to try out and prove me wrong

hows this, you send me a set and i'll pay for shipping...if i like them i'll put a UM sticker on my car

I'm not going to release details until we receive our first set. But, we are going to be distributing a new brand of Drift Spec Coilovers for the 95-98 240SX.

No S13 stuff yet, sorry!

I'm still waiting to test fit them on our car, before I go into technical data, etc.

Pricing is set for $699.99/set of 4 and they are available now. I don't sell anything I haven't tried first. I hope you guys can appreciate that.

The coilovers are designed for drifting and are really stiff. If you are looking for something soft, this isn't it.

The coilovers will be ride-height adjustable, but don't offer all the dampening features of the JDM coilovers.

I think this will pretty much dominate the under $1000 category. Finally an awesome entry coilover, for an awesome price.

SPL Coilovers cost $1000. The spring rates are 8/6. They have separate preload and ride height adjustments AND they have an inverted shock design. We just installed them on Anand's s14 yesterday

one very good question. Did you just pick a spring rate and picked a shock and said "hey this looks good". Then fabricated?

Or did you actually hire an engineer to create these coilovers?
