You guys got a NICO sticker on the car when it was shot for HCI Magazine in 01/05.

It's had some good coverage with NICO over the past few years.

There is a conversion kit that you can buy.

But The RB25DET is a T3 based manifold, and there are lots of good T3 options such as the GT35R that would be good upgrade.

its funny that u say that, because i just bought a gt35r for my next setup

but the twin turbo exhaust manifold from an rb26 won't bolt-on to the rb25??

You would have to modify the exhaust manifolds, as one of the holes does not line up.

or tap the head for the runner 3 and runner 4 flange, because it angle the opposite direction; everything else will line up

I have already sold the GT2860R-5 upgrades.....

But if you want the OEM turbo's, sure I can sell them separately.

Without a doubt, the biggest aggravation with my 240SX has been breaking axles.

I have in all seriousness replaced the left side at least five times, and have broken on the line at the drag strip twice. This is quite embarrassing to say the least.

I noticed that Duy (1000whp 2JZ S14) and Mark (Mazworx T88 S14) have both ran the Mazworx axles, and they have held up to multiple 8 sec passes without breakage.

"The Mazworx 32 spline outer joint and upgraded inner joint will give years of lasting service. The Kit includes driver and passenger axles, new hubs with ARP Extended Wheel Studs already pressed in, and the Mazworx Inner Joint adapter to make all the parts a bolt on affair."

Considering my car is a street car, and I'm shooting for the high 9's, I figure this setup should hold all I can throw at it.

They are $1799 plus shipping, but worth their weight in gold. 1 Year Limited Warranty.

Here's an image of the pieces included in their kit:

DriveShaftShop does offer their own version ($1599/ rated for 900 HP), but it isn't nearly as complete, and only replaces the axles themselves....which is only half the problem in that car.

If anyone wants to post up other manufacturers, I'd love to get a list going.

To my knowledge, these are the only two making upgraded setups for the 240SX.

Not enough for your swap probably.

I was breaking them left and right at 383whp.

Good enough to get shot for several magazines, but not good enough for my own personal happiness.

At the end of the day, I'd go with properly fitted painted fiberglass pieces any day of the week.

I wanted to post some pics of the build on my car to show it's progress level.

I had to order custom motor mounts for the car, and they should be here sometime later this week.

Right now, it appears like the car is 2-3 weeks from being completed.

It would be much sooner, but I am still waiting on parts to arrive from Japan.

Tomei cam pulleys are very pretty.

That's also an interesting use of brass plumbing parts. You planning a dry sump setup or are you just looking for a faster way to remove oil from the head?

NO, the brass fitting was just used to make sure the hole was threaded 1" NPT like the machine shop said they are were going to do.

RB's have an issue with too much oil staying in the head at high RPM's, basically starving the oil pan.

So, we remove the top freeze plug, and install a -12 AN fitting that we run back to the oil pan.

This drastically reduces that issue, almost making it a non-issue.

I recommend this on any series RB motor, but especially the 25 and 26.
