The UR pulleys made 11 whp on the dyno power pages of import tuner I beileve it was. Thats pretty damn impresive considering. They are pricey--but so are exhausts, and they dont yeild that kind of horsepower on an NA car. I think theya re worth it if you have the cash. If not--buy nitrous--lol. J/kNo really. Im going to buy one from asp. I think it will be a sound investment for the power they make, teh revs they help out with, and the fact they look nice spinning on the front of the motor.

why mess with the alternator and water pump? Shouldnt they be able to leave those at the normal ratio while reducing the ps and ac?

are there lightweight non underdrive pulleys?

how does a lightweight flywheel come into play with the pulleys as far as balancing is concerned? it just reduces the rotational mass no other issues, right?

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????

the reason for changing the drive ratio on the water pump is simple. at higher speeds a water pump can start to cavitate, or create bubbles. bubbles are very bad in that it is not water that is being moved anymore and also the air can start to erode the pump impeller. slowing the pump down reduces the risk of cavitation. way to bump a thread.
