+1 on the Vette. Driving that 2008 LS3 to Omaha was freakin sweet. The targa roof is a hell of a bonus. A porsche would also be nice, but I'd have a tough time deciding between that 911 turbo cabrio, and a carerra GT.


...I'd probably end up going with the 911.
Hell, even a new Boxster S would be nice.

I would go for a 911 turbo before a Carerra GT. There is literally no trunk room in the GT.

I thought the newer once (since like... 2006 or so?) had very reliable mechanics... was I mis informed or were you thinking of getting an older one?

An older one, which would have probably needed $3-4k set aside for eventual engine replacement, which then made the idea of buying an older one completely pointless.
