i have been thinking for a while now and i want to put type x aero on my coupe. now that i have coilovers and about $730 to spend on my car i want to spend it on the exterior of the car,i had a works9 replica kit but i ran over the front bumper backing up in my garage a few weeks ago. <-(thats me).and sold the sides and rear for $250.i want to get the type x front, type x sides, rear valences,a d-max roof wing, and there trunk wing.do you guys think that the d-max roof win and trunk wing are a little to much?

I would do Type X aero, and the trunk spoiler only. The roof spoiler is a little too much.

Do you have nice wheels yes?

If you dont have decent wheels, all this aero will just end up looking like crap.

I think the roof wing will look nice with all the other aero..

but IMO, that DMax trunk wing will look too aggressive for that OE silvia rear valance.

Quick lesson for all of you. It's not Type X aero. It's Kouki aero.

Type X is a trim. Just like Type S and Type R. All of which had the option for the aero add ons. If the aero parts were exclusive to the Type X trim, like say the SE lip is exclusive to the S14 SE, then yeah, you can say that. But it isn't.

Just wanted to point that out so people learn of a common misconception that has spread over the years.

And IMO, all of that might work. Depends on the stance of the car as well. If it's low and very flush wheels in 17s, then I think it will work very cleanly. The roof wing should be an option piece though. It will work with or without it.

HOLY s*** that first car is hot!

i say go for it, as long as you have some nice wheels

aero and no wheels = nono

and the dmax trunk wing will look good if you get a more agressive rear valance like you said
