Damn right you're lucky! If I survived that, I'd continue my winning streak by e-mailing Mandy Moore and asking her to marry me. Then again maybe you shouldn't, because I'd get intensely jealous and kill you.

Buy a lotto ticket and move to Belize.

Glad to see you're alive, Tyler. Very very very glad. Hope you're on your feet soon... both of them!

Welcome home Ty, good to see you back on here. One thing, though, I wouldn't hold my breath for a big settlement on the other driver. I was in a similar circumstance (drunk driver as opposed to careless, however) and was thoroughly disappointed by the outcome of the lawsuit. Just don't want you to overspeculate or anything.

And I'm disappointed with you! I bought another 240 while I was still in rehab and here you are puttering around carless!

Again, thanks guys.

I'm doing well, just feeling less that useful lol. I've learned to hate daytime tv, and i think i've gone through about half the movies in the house so far. I meet with my doctor next friday, so until then im pretty much immobile other that strolling through the house with my ballin' walker. hopefully by next week i'll be on crutches, but i cant speak for how well my ankle is going to progress between now and then.

I havent decided what's going to happen with the 240 yet, i know for sure that we're pulling all the parts off and throwing them in the shed for the time being and sending the shell to the scrap yard. I dont think im getting another s13, but maybe i'll get an s14, no idea. I wont be making any decisions until all the insurance stuff is done and i see how much of a settlement comes through. Im not expecting much, and honestly i could care less how much i get as long as i get enough to pay all the medical bills.

I'll keep you guys updated with things, and again i do appreciate all your help.

Tyler

If you don't have an attorney yet, I'm gonna kick you in the ankle and steal your walker.

Cereal.

Do it.

Just make sure it's the left

And i have some crazy anti-theft on the walker, you wouldn't know what hit ya!

We have a really good family friend who is an attorney, and he recommended a friend of his. we're still awaiting word from him i think, but worst case scenario our friend will represent me.

Thanks for the heads up though man.

If you go Honda on us we'll ALL kick you in the ankles. BOTH.

You want me to bring up NYPD Blue and Black Donnellys on DVD? I think I've got my collector Band of Brothers DVD set around here somewhere too.

OK - Don't wait. Talk to him ASAP.

And DO NOT talk to the other drivers' insurance company.

Focus on getting better. Take good care of yourself, it'll make a difference in your recovery.

Hope he gets better soon.

On a lighter note

This reminds me of the photoshops that people do to make a car look like it has a really short wheelbase:

Yo Ty, kept meaning to text you but forgot, my bad. Glad you're at least making it around the house, keep the pimp cane on hand for years to come now though, can smackabish if they talk back. I'll shoot you a text now, lol.
