Were they my children, they wouldn't do it, because I'd have raised them not to go out of their way to violate other people.

Were they my family, I wouldn't be asking for mercy.

Were they my friends, they wouldn't be after I found out they did this.

Don't quit just because you haven't convinced us. If you disagree, explain why. I mean it: explain it. Stop giving us conclusions, and give us what got you to those conclusions.

In case you're wondering, this:
infiniti_lineup wrote:One college student is already dead, is it really far to run the lives of two others because of his stupid action? No.
is a conclusion. You're not even trying to explain it a different way. You're not even trying to explain it in one way. You just keep repeating yourself over and over, as if we'll be any more convinced by your insistence that your conclusion is just. There's something about trying the same thing over and over and expecting a different result that comes to mind. You're nuts.

Since you want to throw that empathetic sentiment out on us, lets turn it back on you.

Im sure if Ty was your son, or nephew, or brother, you would want to see justice done to the douche bags that invaded his privacy. As I said before, I tend to have compassion toward the victim first, before the perpetrator.

Buts lets also do a bit more clarification, and perhaps I am wrong, but it seems you have the rest of us in the camp of wanting these 2 douche bags to pay for Ty's suicide. I can only speak for myself but Im sure its the same for the rest when I say, THAT IS NOT THE CASE. Many other factors played a part in the final summation of his decision firstly to even get up on the bridge in the first place, and then to jump. No one would say he jumped ONLY because of these 2 or ultimately these 2 are to blame for his death. NO - BUT they did commit a crime, and as you yourself have already admitted, charges are warranted. Getting caught up in the ethics of pressing charges is in my opinion a waste of time.

No worries - it was a good discussion.

A thought: Whoever said this on Molly Wei's FB page:

"She is innocent. She was just not smart enough to realize the consequence. We all do. People only talked about this because it was on the news. This sort of things happened every day in college. The public speaks out like a saint. Naive.

We are friends of Molly Wei. She is a bright and considerate girl. She is living in guilt right now. We do not want anymore criticism from anyone. We don't need moral lectures from anyone. We will continue to support Molly regardless."

...is a mouthbreathing idiot (and needs to take remedial English).

She wasn't smart enough? I thought she was an honor student at Rutgers?
"This sort of things happened every day in college"? Really? Are you sure? Where? In China? What college?
The public is "naive"? Really? GTFO of my country. You're naive to think that your precious Molly was innocent.
"We don't need moral lectures from anyone." Tough titty. Molly is a hatemongering whore. :)

It amazes me that someone could be THAT homophobic and hateful.

BTW, they're removing ANY critical postings from her page. What a joke. "Innocent" my a$$.

WTF?

How can you be innocent of something that has a consequence, whether you were smart enough to perceive it or not? Sounds like shes bred from douche bags.
