RELAYS RELAYS . i dont have the ignition coil relay either so it is not a problem.bret240sx wrote:hey your missing a IGN COIL fuse that will start your car funny you have a EGI fuse and i dont
its taken a while, but I found it. The Crank Angle Position Sensor, located under your dist. rotar. If it goes bad or senses the crank in the wrong spot it doesnt let your Ignition Control Module tell the coil to make spark, resulting in no spark.. No start.bret240sx wrote:Hey i have the same promblem as you do i hope someone can tell what to do..
your windows dont even work. find out what fuse is blown. if you dont have the egi relay, then you are never going to start the car. start your own thread. your problem is not the bloody distributor.bret240sx wrote:hey man that great news im glad you got it fix now did you change the distributer ? can you show me a pic of what you change. that will be awsome
the egi relay is located beside the batery on the right fender? is it a black box ?vancouverbc wrote:

no i havent try it yet . what is the cam angle sensor and were is it located ?joevanni wrote:u tried to change the cam angle sensor it happen to me before and i replace the cam angle sensor and it crank back up
i think we have a language barrierbret240sx wrote:

i havent check them all yet but just EGI, and ACC and they look perfect . but using a light tester , it detects the EGI fuse as negative (no-light) and ACC is positive(light-on). now i dont know if it bad or not .vancouverbc wrote:

its in the relay box by the battery. your relay box should look like the above. you should have the two green relays which i guarantee you have.
check this relay box for blown fuses especially 75 amp fuse
you not getting power to your windows. you have a blown fuse. ignore the 3 relays and check the fuses in the relay box. you probably can see where the fuse filement is melted. or test the fuses. only look in the relay box by the battery. look at everything except the 3 relays(two green and one grey)bret240sx wrote:

i still dont have light/power on my dash and windows
the coil do not have any electricity so there is no spark goin to the disttrubitor .ive tested with light tester on the plugs to the coil and distributer, and its been giving me (no-light) no electricity. i wounder if it possible if one of the wire is been cut/shorted or burn that were giving the electricity to the coil?
thanks for helping me out you guys
all fuse are ok. ive check them all. i find this weird .. ive got to know were is my window/dash connected from . maybe there i can track the promblem .vancouverbc wrote:

i found the problem for my dash and windows !!it was the 12v brown and a 12v blue fuse on the back of the relay box beside my kick panel (on the driver side (left leg). im happy ive got that done now
the bad new is.. well... the car dont start there is no spark from the ignition coil possibly another 12v fuse ? were could that be ?
thanks for the great help guys you guys are great really
no i dont have any voltage from the plug that goes on the ignition coil to power it up. the wire is black/red is the one that gives current to the coil if am correct. and also to give you some idea, there is no sign of voltage to the distributor plug ? even when boosting it up with another car still no sparkvancouverbc wrote:

i dont know much about the ignition circuit. power for the ignition coil comes from ignition switch with no fuse. do you measure voltage going to ignition coil. ignition coils basically never fail.
quit thread jackin.bret240sx wrote:

i assume your car cranks which means power is getting to ignition switch. you have to find out why the ignition switch is not sending power to black red wire at ignition coil. wire is cut or ignition swtich is bad or you are not reading the voltage right.bret240sx wrote:
