That sure is a thing of beauty!

Unfortunatly, it looks like one big voided warranty too. Ahhhh the price we pay for free parts and fast cars LOL

That's awesome, especially for free.

Does it fit in the stock hood? Looks like it does.

Are you upgrading any of the engine internals, or going with stock there too?

Plenty of clearance for the hood. We have not yet started on my car.

So it will it be cranking out as much fwhp as the white turbo A/C? Also did you get the opportunity to drive that one, how was it?

i have no idea what i'm going to do after i get the car back as far as internals and everything else like maintenance, and miles before servicing, etc. I have a thousand questions for the turbochargers.com staff before i get in the car and drive it and hopefully will have lots of info for yall when i get the car back to Dallas. I've heard my car will be tuned and i hope artisan performance markets the ecu flash/tune because i know that is something just about everyone on here wants and has been waiting for.I'll keep yall posted

Nissan

03-05 Nissan 350Z (Manual transmission) $1950

03-05 Infiniti G-35 (Manual transmission) $1950

It has been used on Nissan's and offers much more control than piggybacking.

I would say we're about 40% complete with the fabrication. There's still plenty of things to be done and we're definitely taking our time getting everything right. Trust me, I can't wait for the completion of this kit either. Though that might be because my sedan gets this kit next!

I have a question, and maybe its a dumb one... if artican performance already made a tbo for the coupe, why do they need another one to do the R&D? Why don't they use the specs from the first turbo they made, you know, the one shown at SEMA?

OK, second question, Jdizzle, I think I'm a bit lost, is artisan performance doing the turbo for the CVT also? You have a CVT right, or is another company doing you turbo. I tried to look back at the postings, but it looks like you just popped out of nowhere and started talking about your CVT turbo.

Again, I think I'm a bit lost, forgive me!

Lol. Hello!

Yes, the CVT kit is going to be made by Artisan Performance.

We can't use the exact same specs as the SEMA coupe mostly because of the location of the turbo. The SEMA coupe has the turbo coming through the hood so the piping is different. There were also a few other changes made to the manifold and intercooler piping.

Here's the SEMA coupe with the bumper off. Needless to say you cannot use the factory crash bar with the piping this way. Most people wouldn't care but we thought it was important.

Looks like its coming together nicely. Hopefully it will post some decent numbers. Also where did you find on Hydra's wep page they did tuning on the 350z and G35? I went under the software tab and it says nothing about them developing software for those 2, acutally no Nissan product at all.
