He's probably basing it on the rule of thumb of 10hp/1lb-boost. I believe the guy who turboed his SpecV ran between 5 and 8psi. The 5psi boost (untuned) have him something like 225hp and with the tune it bumped up to 255hp (although I'm probably completely off on those digits!). Keep in mind too that the SpecV's have the upgraded internals and are already running with more power than our QR's.

i thought ur gonna do the body swap with the guy with the white stillen front and sides. ( forgot his SN sorry : / ) what happened to that?
He was going to swap with Kevin Doyle, things fell through though. I'm sure BNW will specify what happened if you needed an explanation. If you sell of the coupe though, I'll trade you your rims for my stock ones

a friend got 335, just with chip and straight pipe, it beats new M3 up to like 110

with that being said, im not rich and i dont have extra 30 grand to spend. Stuck with the 2.5, maybe turbo it to make it a little bit more enjoyable to drive.

when u said for 50hp for turbo is that factual numbers or ur using it to make a point?
Yeah it isnt cheap... thats why im saving up...lol

and ESP is right i was using the rule of thumb. Stillen had talked about only giving it a small boost of about 5psi becuase the kit was NOT going to have an intercooler, and the kit being around 5k. Thats about $100/hp

And i cant justify getting a 3.5 cause i dont think anything with over 200hp should be FWD...lol i want my RWD back!!....lol
That is the most retarded statement I have read regarding FWD cars.... Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi, Chrystler, Chevy... the lists goes on regarding the number of FWD vehicles that have had 200+hp going back to the 1995 toyota camry... so EVERY car company has it wrong except you... there should be a limit of 200 hp on FWD cars... LOL the ridiculousness of that statement is as ridiculous as the word ridiculousness.... don't confuse your small engine with "purpose" regarding FWD and power. Blake's car pushes 320 whp at the front wheels and, in HIS opinion, after suspension and wheel upgrades handles just as good as his previous BMW 330i.... sorry dude, that was just a dumb statement... perhaps saying FWD shouldn't be boosted would have been a more credible statement

hey man its all a matter of opinion. i can agree to disagree and i respect other peoples opinions.

but fact is RWD handles better than FWD regardless of what kind of power it has.
