U think i might have maxed out an injector what will it do if i do how will it run

If you can pull the plugs on each injector and the rpm drops right about the same, I doubt it's an injector. Maybe one is leaking. Just pop the whole rail up and turn the key to ACC mode and see if anything leaks.

At this point I'd start from scratch. Clean the plugs, check the wires for chaffing, check for any vac leaks try to get the idle stable enough to get the timing close to 20*.

Any codes?

yea there is a code cause the c.e light is on but i caint get the ecu to tell me the code ikd i think it has some thing to do with it bn tuned an timing is at 15* i going to check plugs they r gaped to .032 wires r good u think it could b the evap thing the plugs into the charge pipe

leave the timing at 15* or w/e i told you to set it. it fixed the problem you described earlier, that was the onset of detonation. i could honestly believe that idle to be bad plugs or possibly a pretty substantial air leak. pressure test the intake system and check your plugs. if you began to detonate like you described earlier when i told you to retard your timing then you could have potentially trashed the plugs. Z1 motorsports sells a boost leak tester (or they did) and i dont think its much. WONDERFUL little tool.

ye i didnt know they made thos i was just thimk of how to make one, an it would b great have an i saw this hood an kinda like it any one know where i could get one or the price of one or is this like a one of akind thing Image just a thought :crazy:

If it can't run at 20* timing then we need to figure out why. Why would it need to be retarded so much? How much boost are you running?

In order to get the car running correctly the stock settings should be used. Retarding the base timing 5 degree's will jack up the idle all by itself. Just my .02

Well i regaped plugs an set timing at same time so it could b the plugs that made it run right idk

im sure that his little revlon hair dryer is having a wonderful time feeding that 2.4 and trying to make boost. im sure his air charge is fairly warm and begining to detonate since t25's on ka's are nothing but heat pumps. im sure a larger more efficient turbo could help remedy such retarded timing for said boost pressure. imho the t28 is the smallest id hang on the side of a ka tho im a 2871 or 20g man for a good time

true true but i got this one befor i knew bout the other or i would have got that i am not rich lol but i took ecu out opened it up an the chip came un hooked ok lol so i pluged it back in an now it runss better but not right i will have a good video up soon one u can here better an kinda see as it is dark here but when u start it the c.e light is on an if u give it gass it gose off an if u hold rpm if will flash idk but thats some werid s***. motor is still running better tho but not right an not good enouf for me to want to drive it i got like 5k easy in this thing dont want to make it hurt its shelf lol if it dont have to

i pulled codes an only got a 55 witch is all is good an all is not good lol i am going to go buy new plugs today the ones in it r older an they r not ngk witch is all i like to run i just put a set of them in my gs-t eclipse an cause it had auto lights in it an made it run so much better an got me like 5 mpg more

funny cause my CA missed like that when I first got it running cause my O2 sensor was bad. If you skeptical of your plugs replace them and consider looking into an O2 sensor

ok i got car runnig smoth. not to tell how i did it ok frist the reson why it f*** up was the chip that was put in the ecu came out an that made my plugs foul out real bay cause it put ecu in limp mode so when i pluged it in the car ran like crap still but no codes. ok so i pulled plugs they were all black so i put new ones in an it ran well but not right an i got to lookn round at motor an found that one of the wires to the tps was broke so i fixed that an now its running strong just need to have the ex put on tomarrow. for back preesure an so the o2 sencer will get the right readings cause when u rev it up it sometimes backfires. but any way thank u guys for the help i have kearend so much lol. but lol there is always a but haha this weekend i am going to rebulid the turbo, an i am not sure if how i know u dont just pull it apart an put it back together. so if any of u know a link can u post it for me i have been lookn but have found little to nothing, an the reson i am rebuliding it is cause it is smoking more an more it is leaking oil into its shelf. thank u guys an s13drifter88 thanks tons!!!!!!!!! :bigthumb: :dblthumb: :mike Image i love my s13

yea i got one layn a round funny thing i got a hole 91 204sx hatch gave to me for free has a blown head gaskit guy saw mine one day when i was getn gas one day an came up an asked if i wanted it i was like hell yea, where it at i pull it home now haha its just like mine but black an not a hicas

ok rebulit turbo an i got it back on an all works real good now from what i can tell but i was wanting to know where should i run the vacum from to the bov cause no matter what one i use it blows back thro maf a bit only on i think i have bot tryed it the break booster lol but for real any one know right now i have it tied into the one that comes out of in take right next to the break booster
