TURBO QUESTION

Recently my turbo started making a weird shreiking noise that only happens when i hit full boost. It used to just make the normal sound of a turbo spooling and still does until full boost, its quite loud and doesnt sound healthy but there is no loss of power or smoke from the exhaust. im baffled and any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a 94 180sx thats stock except for filter and cat-back exhaust

check your turbo lines... i'm thinking theyre fried or something. notice a puddle of coolant sitting under your car?

yah, sounds like your turbo is about to take a crap

^^ still can be saved... just fix your lines before it you turbo blows... switch to ss lines.

i thikin im kinda having a similar problem. my turbos not so loud but it leaks oil. is it a similar problem?

leaks oil in the inside or on the outside?

and if it leaks on the inside, does it lead into the exhaust or intake.
