Got it from jgycustoms for 340 bucks, fits and works pretty well for the price.

stone race/ tial 35mm are the same design---i dont see what the downside could be to useing a stone race. Its not like its really a compicated design or a complicated peice of engineering genious.

I have a stone mountian one too :)

Well mine was *****ed up, the boost just kept on going up. luckily I had the fuel management for my setup, or my motor would have went to hell. I just recently tested my tial wastegate and there is a huge difference, it holds boost very well.

I understand what you mean about the design shouldn't be to complicated, but there has to be something wrong with the stone racing wastegates.

nah--the fact your boost kept goin up--the wastegate probably had the wrong spring in it. The wastegate only uses a metal valve looking deal and a spring. Vaccum to control whent he spring opens, etc. Stone, turbonetics, tial, hks, all use the same internal design. They probably sent you the wrong spring. I have heard that happen before.

Turbonetics daltegates had that happen alot--they send out 12 lb springs when the spring was set for like 7 lbs.

When I tested out my wastegate it felt really stiff. So I bought a 0.4 bar spring and it still boosted to 1 bar.

However, if I don't use that ring, then it'll mate perfectly.

use the ring and just mount the wg on the flange how you describe it to be. its meant to be used that way.
