Hey, I am new to this forum and Ive looked around but cant find anything to really help me out.

I have a red top SR and a Blitz SS BOV and after the first 5 minutes or so of driving it stops releasing the air between shifts, is this related to my exhaust leak between my manifold and turbo? Im still hitting 6-7 pounds of boost the whole time, why would my BOV stop working,? If it is related to the exhaust leak thats fine, I just want to know if there would be anything else causing it to stop. I just recently took the BOV apart and cleaned it, and lubed it with some oil. Any help would be great thanks..

Also I heard that since most SR's blow their gasket between the manifold and turbo, it is a better idea to use a 300zx t25 gasket instead, is this true? If so, will it last a lot longer so I wont have to replace it again?

a leak between the turbo and manifold wont effect the BOV, and the reason that gasket goes is because the nuts that hold the turbo on have a tendancy to come loose due to heat and vibration

Any idea why the BOV ceases to work after driving just a couple of minutes?
