Don't bother with timing adjustments on the car. Mine didn't like it at all - it lost 20WHP immediately on the dyno no matter what timing adjustments were made by the tuner and even more torque. So it was left stock and all the power came back.

I had the same issue with my 370Z, with some hotter timing the car would drive okay for about 5 minutes and then absolutely die in performance. Throttle response was shot and there was no power. The ECUs on newer Nissans and Infinitis don't like timing changes. Once I flashed the timing back to stock, those issues went away.

I haven't got any support from UpRev regarding the M. So I never brought it up to them.

So, I received the vGate ODBII reader I bought on Amazon. Didn't want to sync via BT at first, but I unplugged it, turned the car off and back on and then my phone found it. Only messed with it for a few minutes, but seems nice. I'm using the Torque Android app ($4.95).

Here is the one I bought: Link

Yeah I use an Elm327 mini for mine. Did you download the Infiniti Advanced EX plug-in for Torque? I was able to see engine oil Temps and a bunch of other stuff with that plug in.

nice progress and I also have a non responsive email waiting from UpRev.. You should post a picture of your time slips so we know your time's are real and not hype...lol Def sounds good but to run 11's wont happen by keeping it NA. Also do you have any sound clips/videos from when it was on the DYNO? Would like to hear your exhaust set up.

Pretty nice. I wish the mods would start rolling. New intake and a SuperCharger maybe?

Once I can get some headers made or gut the exhaust manifold that will free up probably like 10-15whp

MBS could do your headers if you think they can take caution when doing so. Or if you can get someone near AZ PPE engineering will make some longtubes for you. Last option is to get some stock headers with primary cats attached and send that to PPE, a guy I know did that and his fit with no problems (G37)

Have you tried contacting EcuTek? They offer tuning suites for GT-R's, 370Z's and Juke turbos. I would think the VK56VD market is stronger than that of the Juke :gotme

The juke has a stronger following because it's turbo'd but I can try.

That is beyond depressing... the Juke could run 9's in the quarter mile and I still would NEVER buy one...and yet there is aftermarket parts available? My little sister will be sooo excited (heavy sarcasm)

So so true. Even my daughters think that thing is ugly. Hey MajesticKing, I saw your car at the College Park show...just as clean in person.

Yes, at the crank. Not the wheels.

And covered with bugs, surely that couldn't have helped my dyno. Anyway, without the cover, the intake growls now. It sounds like a legitimate aftermarket intake now - I am truly surprised with the result.

And while I haven't driven it long enough to see how the effects of heat will have, I do live in Florida and heat is pretty much immediate in our engine bays and I'm extremely sensitive to heat soak.
Hello, I live in Florida,Mia I'm going through the grades you done to your M56S is there a chance you can give me some guidance on how to run the uprev?

What are you for looking guidance on? How to get it? UpRev.com has most of your answers.

Oh, okay.

I wouldn't know how to actually tune. I always let UpRev eTune for me or you can find a local tuner. I'd be careful...lol

Yes be very careful... Mostly UpRev is used to adjust timing and fueling to arrive at proper a/f ratios, throttle response, and shifting points/pressure. There are quite a few experienced tuners hanging around on the g35driver.com forums or even the Titan forums. Good luck getting a straight answer from UpRev.
