Those plug into your stock harness. There should have been an adapter that came with it. It looks like the male end of your stock bulb.

Thanks man I just figured it out after I googled it and read through a couple of threads. One end is an adapter that plugs into the ballast and then you slide these other to flat ends into the stock wiring harness for the car... Right?

check your box again... you should have two small white plastic pieces. Those two metal prongs slide into one side of the little plastic pieces. The other side of the plastic piece connects to the stock harness.

The Xentek kit comes like that so that you don't have to worry about cutting and re wiring like ssome of the other kits. Again, check your box one last time and look for the little plastic adapters

I actually got an identical setup on my Xenoneyes kit.

Those 2 metal prongs should actually fit right into your stock harness. The color coding should be similar, if not exact. So the prong with the black wire will go to the side of the stock harness with the black wire, and the blue will in turn connect to the colored side of the stock harness.

If you do what I did, it might sound a bit ghetto, but it didn't require cutting the stock headlight harness. I just stuck the prongs into their corresponding sockets, made sure the lights worked, and tightened the whole mess together with zip ties. I covered that with electrical tape. The setup seemed to hold nicely, and it's been a few months without any problems.

So, if you want to do it the "proper" way, you may need to cut the wires on your harness. If not, just stick those prongs in there!

Like alpha just said, you could just slide them into the factory harness and use electric tape to hold it together. A little ghetto style but as long as it works, you're all godd

I think you misunderstood alphapig...

noone mentioned anything about cuuting the stock wiring harness. On the Xlight kit, some folks had to cut the wires on the X light kit in order for them to fit properly.

Some kits, like the Xentek kit, comes just like this kit, however they have an adapter that those two metal prongs stick into, and lock in place. After re-reading his post, I think his kit had the adapters also.

I can't imagine a quality kit coming without an adappter for those metal prongs. Just sticking them in the holes of the factory harness is ghetto! yeah it may work, but Having them in that close proximity without a means to keep them apart could cause them to touch, possible shorting out your HID kit and causing some serious damage to your vehicle wiring harness.

Yeah, def ghetto, but if he has no adapter plate, then I guess that's an option. I wouldn't know because mine came with all necessary parts, but the wiring was just reversed so I had to do a little soldering.

Exactly, all kits I've ever seen came with the adapter. The only reason you had to cut yours is that your adapter was already on.. however, what you may notice if you ever pull your HID setup out again, is that I believe your adapter can slip on and lock into place just like the Xentek kit. If you look on the pics above, you'll see two netal grooves at the bottom of the metal prong... that's where it locks into the adapter. But oh well.. you got it to work anyway..

oh and alpha pig, this is the little plastic piece I'm talking about...

Hey Rob, I think your kit and mine were made by the same manufacturer. They look exactly the same. I wouldn't doubt it if they were made in one plant then labeled differently for sale.

Yeah I just went ahead and plugged them into the stock harness. i was going to be electrical tape to hold them in but it was such a snug fit I left it alone and tip tied it to the frame so it won't be bouncing around.. No problems yet!! Thanks for the help!

no plastic adapter whatsoever... Just the two metal plugs to stick into the wiring harness... The kit itself didn't seem cheap at all and I am very happy with the quality but I was a little irked when I seen it didn't have a plug to run to the harness.. But hey, 100 bucks I can't complain!!

Use my how-to install write up I posted a while back: zerothread?id=293744

It'll take about an 1 to 1.5 hours to install. So if you take it to a shop, based on hourly labor, look to spend $100-$150 for installation. Save yourself the money and do it yourself. It's fairly simple once you get your car up. Look through the link and if you think you can do it with the instructions and pics, give it a shot.

It really is plug and play.. the hardest part about the install will be finding a place to mount the ballast. I uses the double sided tape for mine and found good mounting points on the frame.

If you've got money to burn, then go ahead and pay a garage... but I'll tell you, Its the most plug and play mod you'll ever do to a car!!!!

Seriously, don't waste $150 for someone to install it for you! That'll be a huge waste of money. How about a friend's garage, or maybe a relative? Do you have any friends who are semi-mechanically inclined? Maybe they can help you for a case of beer or something.

yeah, someone else did theirs without taking off the tire. The thing is, if you take off the tire, you've got more room to work with. More room means less possibility of mistakes, ie. accidently touching the bulb, things like that. But it can be done without taking the tire off... for the record, I took my tire off to do mine, and I'm glad I did!

The oils from your fingers will get onto the bulb and heat up, then like stated above...BOOM!!
