I put my s14 manual brake pedal and my clutch master cylinder in today. It was A PAIN i repeat A PAIN getting the old brake pedal out and the new one in. I took pleny of pics enjoy.

Automatic brake pedal

First thing you have to do is remove this small box. Two bolts hold on the bracket that welded to it.

Once off remove the 10mm bolt so the clip can you an get the box out off your way

Next thing you have to do is turn this nut with an open end wrench so that you can free the MC from the accual brake pedal assembly

Remove both of these sensors because they will get in the way when u are tring to get the pedal out and belive me you need all the room you can get. Loosen up this bolt and then just thread the sensors out by hand

Remove the bolt thats holds up the top of the brake pedal bracket.

Remove the 2 nuts on this side of the bracket and the other 2 on the exact other side. The pedal assembly is now free.

Now with the assembly free Spend 10+ mins moving this thing and cussin at everyone in the world til its finally out

The install is the reverse of the removal, install and enjoy

Seeing how I was down in this area i figured i would install my clutch cylinder

I tired to get at it with a hole saw but since I get the dill flush the hole saw wouldnt work. So i got a small drill bit and took some advise a friend told me about.

I drilled holes about every 1/8 of an inch all around the imprinted circle

Then I took a screw driver to it and hit it with a hammer in between each hole

When its almost out just grab it with some plyers and yank it out

Its looks choppy

So I took the dremel to it and smoothed it out

Drilled the two holes that hold the clutch clyinder up.

And installed the clutch cylinder

I wouldn't wrap the header, especially If you're worried about it cracking. The wrap reflects the heat the header is trying to dissipate back at the header to keep the exhaust gasses hot, which can help with scavenging but it's murder for the piping.

Well as it stands for the swap right now I have completed convering the wiring for the s13 sr20 to work in the s14 chasis. All I have to do is figure out the wirng for the lower harness (manual transmission) because my s14 harness is an automatic. I got some pics of me and my friend pulling the ka24 out. It wasent really hard just Cold as f##k outside when we did it.

Halfway there...do it to it! Do you have any info on the lower harness wiring?

Man. This reminds me of when I did my swap. It was the best time of my life. I wish I could do it all over again.

But good luck on the swap!

well as far as getting the eninge running with the lower harness the only thing that to be swiched out is the starter signal connector. because the auto one will work but the locking tabs dont match so it wont lock in. if you have the sr20 lowering harness ( which I dont) you can just swap plugs and your done. but the plug is a standard female connector you can buy so Im just going to buy and insulated one and it should work.

Now as for the transmission two sensors have to be hooked up. neutral position switch, and the reverse switch. I dont remember the wire colors but Ill post them when I do it. once again if you have the sr20 lower harness you can just extend wires and solder in the plugs to the sensors. BUT i dont have one so I hve to wire it directly into the sensors and basically bypass the plugs.

other than those 3 things everything else plugs up
