Well, I am aware that there is a piece of white nylon inside of the rear quarter window assembly that seems to plague the community. I have noticed that both of mine are cracked, but at this point they seem to be holding together well enough to function reasonably well. It is almost impossible to find a glue that will actually hold nylon, but I have found this product (link below) and I propose it as a solution. Furthermore, it appears that this product is capable of fully replacing the part should somone wish to mold it and shape it. Thoughts? Eikon, any thoughts from you? I am trying to be proactive here.http://www.urethanesupply.com/plastifixintro.html
I suppose that I could give it a run. What is the best way to get at that part? From which direction and how? Furthermore, I would assume that lithium grease would be the best way to lubricate the window rails. Am I making a good assumption? Use it generously or sparingly? BTW: My interior job is supposedly done. I will be picking up the car later today and will post pics as soon as practicable.
