have you ever wondered, if JFK hadnt been shot, would you have any reason to distrust our government? I would have to say that was when our government leared it could do things that the people wouldnt approve of and get away with it. If our governemnt stops working for the people and starts working for itself..

Think about it, If someone can murder the president, infront of 100's of witnesses, on national television and never pay for that crime... What keeps you and your family safe?

I've been watching that show, and I've learned a LOT more than what I have elsewhere. . the bullet in the windshield, LBJ's involvement, etc. . ****ing crazy. . ohh. . and the touched up photos.

when governments commit illegal, corrupt, or immoral acts, they count on (and now expect) apathy from the masses. exactly the feeling your post suggests, sideshow. it is very telling when our countries' president can be murdered in front of the world, and then covered up, or at least the majority of the facts covered up. however, there is hope for us all when people are still out there trying to shed some light on the REAL truth (or at least to take the time to watch the documentaries, or post on this topic here).

if he hadnt of been shot we wouldnt be having this conversation, yes the first thing i said was stupid, i was bored. but i stand by my other post. yes it did show that the govt could get away with things, and if it had never happened and things gone smoothly since, maybe more people would trust them. but that fact is he was shot, the damage was done. and im geussing if it had never happened the govt would of found a chance to make a scandal out of something else eventually because they are such great people:rolleyes . but no one is safe, even if the govt was honest and did things with morals or ethics there are still people who are willing to **** you up for the change in your pocket.

ok do you guys think that LHO just picked up the gun t the window or maybe he practiced ith it for a while?i honestly don't think he did shoot....but even wth the sight he could have learned to shoot correctly with the scope or even not used the scope...but the fact that all 3 shells were neatly next to each othe on the floor....come on....if you have ever shot a bolt action gun....the shells don't all fal in the same spot....but it is possble that he cold have fired those shots in that time frame...but the time frame for him to wipe the gun down,hide it acrossed that room...run down 3 flights of stairs and then shoot a police officer.....i don't think so...

We had a talk about this in my econ class, supposedly from the viewpoint of LHO in the warehouse, he would be aiming through tree branches to get a clean shot at JFK. There were trees infront of the window tall enough to hinder the viewsite of LHO. Furthermore, after the incident, the trees were trimmed down - so it would look like he would have a clear shot.
