I got mine with the exact same specs and the exact same time as you, and mines on the bottom? Hmmm, convinence package or not?

i think it may have just been a change from 07 to 08

Anybody want to make a hypothesis about why the location varies?

i just looked through it and EVERY SINGLE person that said theres was on the bottom, got there car in 2007 and every single person who said they have theres on top, got the car in 2008. the only exception maybe is you're car (mehdi) since you said you have one of the 1st ones made. when exactly did you get yours?

EVERYONE. Go edit your post and put every option you have on your car. VDC, TCS, Packages, Engine, Transmission, Month/Year, Country, etc. The works! We can make it into a chart with this info. Ill go back and edit mine first, so you guys can get an idea of how to do it Edit your post to look something like this:

looks like you and Scandinavian have the pretty much the same car bought around the same time and have the trunk release button in different places lol

Where were your cars made, Canton or Smyrna?That might have something to do with it, mine was built in Canton.

Mine is on top too. Got my A/C in April of this year.

Looking at the very first pictures posted, it seems that the configuration with the trunk release on top also has the VDC toggle button in the middle, while the configuration with the trunk release on the bottom has the VDC toggle button in the far right position.

What exactly are these three buttons used for, if you had all of the options?

Mine is at the top and I just got my car a month ago

Bought mine on 09/02/07. It was built in Smyrna and mine is on the top. My car is a 3.5 cvt with the prem pkg and traction control. My tcs button is in the middle of the three and the trunk release to the left of that.
