For clarification, they were available in Canada as well. And about 400 Silvia Convertibles were produced in Japan.

I had those seat covers when I was 16...
Everything else I see looks like it came out of the '90's tuning scene so that's why it's not my taste. The industry has learned, and moved on haha.
<Not trying to be a d!ck Btw... Idk how else to convey thoughts thru text.
People complained that I didn't post any pics at all. I don't have recent ones and won't until next week. If you had read my first post, you'd know that. ;)

The bumper is fitted wrong. The gap at the front fenders where there was a 'custom side light' inserted, was done by a body shop. That light should not be there at all and the entire bumper needs a 1.5 inch face lift (already done, but the gap remains...). The whole thing will be fixed at a future date when I actually have money...

And those are not Silvia fenders. ;)

are you sure on that. if you lift the bumper up more it will be so far out of place. if you look at s13 silvia fenders they look identical where the corner light would be.

did you have a body shop buy all the parts and put it together? maybe they ordered the wrong ones and then put a "custom" light in there.

Definitely looks like Silvia fender on driver's side (don't see it sticking out on passenger). USDM fender should curve down and follow the lines of the hood and matchup with the light. Unless the bumper is pulling the fender that far out of whack.

I bought the parts. I even ordered them from one of the Nico Forum sponsors, just don't remember which. I am 100% positive that is NOT a Silvia fender. ;)

You'd be surprised... I was pissed actually... If you push the bottom of the bumper away from the car, the whole bumper lifts up in the air over 2 inches. That gap is NOT supposed to be there and the bumper is like glued to the fender, so it will need to be cut apart... (One of the many headaches I've experienced over the years with this project....)

OP: to be honest it really doesnt look that bad to me. I think the only thing i would do is get the right fenders and go back to pop ups, and take the wing off.
Your paint is nice
the car is nice
rims are ok
bodykit is nice
And it is a vert. Dont worry nico opinion on a nice s13 is stock body or a stupid i wanna be like a sil80/s15 but im not, gay stickers everywhere, slammed so low to the ground that you cant even drive your car where you want to, and to have on mb battles. :lolling:
And they were all laughing at you. :facepalm:

Keep up the good work or atleast keep me updated im interested. :yesnod

The sad part is I LIKE bright, shiny, overdone cars.... This one goes way too far in my book though... You complain about being poor, but then have the body work so eccentric. I don't know... It's just like you used your being poor as an excuse to buy the cheapest s*** you could find that would make it look different. Maybe instead of dumping $150 on a Ferrari emblem, you could've saved that up twice and added that on to what you paid for the vader body kit and bought something better like an origin or something. The money you spent on the headlights... So many things make me just want to slap you on the back of the head and tell you to actually look at your car. You've WASTED money on stupid s*** where you could've spent that money on something of a higher quality for the other s*** you bought.

@motoman
I don't have the stock fenders any more. The originals got ripped, part of the reason they were replaced. There is another possibility here... The shop I bought the fenders from may have listed them wrong. They might have just put up "89-94 Nissan 240SX" and then some pics. The listing didn't specify that this is for a 180sx or Silvia, it said "S13 240SX" and it was cheaper than OEM, and I am poor, so I bought it...

@Lonismos14
Thanks for the support! I do want coilovers and better springs, but I dont want it slammed so low that I can't drive over speed bumps without ripping off my bumpers... The spoiler definitely has to go, the "rims" are already replaced, lots of other body work done that is not in that old pic.

I've made a LOT of mistakes with the car, I definitely admit that. Being poor is not an excuse, just a reason. That's the 'reason' it took me 7 years to piece this car together.

If I could go back and start over, hell yes I would! I would've spent ALL my money on performance over appearance... I even had the body kit installed before I even had the engine running! What an idiot ya! So? Was it your mistakes I made? Your money I spent? Your car I modified? So why must you continuously bash on me for s*** I did up to 7 years ago?

Alright, sorry... I didnt want to have to do this. But the Sherlock Holmes in me couldnt resist.

I pulled up some pics of my oem s13 silvia fenders as well as non oem (overfenders/vented). Both oem and aftermarket silvia fenders have a factory body line that runs along the "entire" fender. Matching the factory line that runs through the doors as well as the the rear fender.
(Here is a picture of my oem silvia fender) Notice the body line i speak of.
Image

Now the difference on the oem/aftermarket 240sx (usdm s13), the body line stops before the front wheel. Notice below.

Aftermarket overfenders 240sx (usdm s13)

Now, the method to my madness. With closer observation of KingDutka's s13, the fender in the picture possesses that factory body line. Refer below.
Image

In conclusion... those fenders, or at least the one shown is an aftermarket fender for an S13 Silvia. I rest my case.

I didn't mind the car; not my style, but not my right to flame either. I thought you started out correctly with confidence, but succumbed to the inevitable flame throwers. I'll admit though, I was a little creeped on the Ferrari comparisons. :gotme But dude, when you post your car and love it as much as you say, be prepared to defend it. Good luck with it ... :sad:
