Well, I went through almost an entire can of carb cleaner and nothing. Not a change at all in the motor. So while I wait for the head to cool a little, I pulled apard the MAF and cleaned it. It was a bit grunge in there so that may help. I'll keep you guys posted.

BTW, I ended up getting BCPR6ES-11S instead.

Well if the car cleaner doesnt work then go for the leak tester. After i check today im gonna check some IC piping to look for oil and if i am blowing oil im going to whoop some as caus its a fresh turbo. But again im not running an oil restrictor and the smallest fitting is 1/8 OD.

Put it all back together and no real change. The plugs were a little funky, but I ahve seen worse (read rotary) Car revvs a little better and all, but nothing major. ECU is good, plugs are good, MAF is good, no major leaks...The only real thing that is weird about my car is the fact that there is no exhaust on the car....I am begenning to wonder if the no downpipe thing is my source of these worries....

Heavy Throttle needs to hurry up and get my damn gasket to me....:(

K. It is almost more of a problem of transition of light to hard throttle...

oh well then whatever leak you have (if its a leak) is something that is expanding with the sudden pressure change.. sound right? IM just guessin at this point

IF it is not a leak, what else could I check? What sensor or whatever would be the most likely? Time to bust out the FSM and the multimeter I guess....

Pour some water or spray some carburetor cleaner in between the #2 and #3 cylinder runners on the intake manifold portion that holds the butterfly valves. The key area of interest is the adjustment lever. When those seals go, it leaks all over the place and the only thing to do is change or completely remove the butterfly valves and seal the holes where the shafts extended through.

I sprayed carb cleaner all in there and no effect. I literally covered every inch of the head, intake plenum, TB, IC and piping, MAF, turbo intake side, intake area, intake tube with the stuff. Like I said, I went through a BIG can of the stuff this morning.

Sorry this took so long... here are the shots of the setup.

PVC Pipe w/ Male Connector (connect this to the car)

Pressure valve setup. This is an "industrial" strength regulator... buddy of mine at work gave it to me. Goes way higher than necessary. Its set to 10PSI for those that can't see. You should NOT go any higher as you'll risk blowing oil seals!

To make your life easier, I'd recommend getting a couple extra male/female connectors and setting things up as you like. Normally, I've seen people put a female on the right side, and a male on the left. So then you can hook the air line from the compressor to the male (using the normal female connector on the hose) and then connect the female side to the male on the intake fitting. Hope this helps guys!

Doode, I fixed my car yesterday, had that same buck and sputter and **** (see above)

on a whim, I pulled my O2 sensor and was surprised to hear rattling and ceramic sticking out of the inlet holes.

My O2 sensor 'sploded!!

so check that, I replaced mine with my spare and it runs like a champ again.
