MT90 yeah but if you are swapping out fluid how many quarts should you use??Kamin wrote:i run redline lightweight shockproof, you might want to consider MT90 or superlight shockproof.

why not? Modified mag did it on their s-14 build up, and it was a shop that was doing it. I did it all last year, yeah felt great?Kamin wrote:
um
never mix weights.
Hmmm I've been thinking of swapping from Shockproof heavy which is what me and alot of RB guys are running...Think there is a big difference?Kamin wrote:i run redline lightweight shockproof, you might want to consider MT90 or superlight shockproof.

there was a thread awhile back on how 1st and 2nd want to grind until we've gone about 2 miles then it shifts smooth. I wonder if the "light" would solve this ?
Yeah me too winter is a mother.Carl H wrote:grinding only happens to me in the winter, i run redline mt-90...thicker oil causes slower moving syncros.
Drain it drain it drain it, if pennzoil snychromesh is anything like thier other oils that turn into the consistancy of mud, i wouldnt even put pennzoil in my door hinges.pirate87 wrote:anybody use penzoil synchromesh? I put it in as a quick fix (only non gl-5 fluid available at autozone at the time). It seems to be much less viscous than "traditional" gear oil.
I use to run pennzoil 50% and 50% lucus in my integra........I would think that both trannies are made of the same material.meet07 wrote:I know this is an old thread but I figured this is the best place to ask a question. What do you guys think about doing 50% lucus oil.....?? The super thick stuff??
