Gentlemen,

I've talk to a couple people about it already, but thought I'd put it on here as well.

I'd like to put the stock exhaust back on my M. Problem is that I don't have it any longer.

Looking to trade my full cat back (mid pipes & mufflers) Megan exhaust for a a stock plus cash.

If you're in the Virginia/DC/Maryland area hit me up if your interested.

Too bad you're not in Cali, I'd be up for it.
Good luck!

Shipping is a PITA. Finding boxes and packaging it up. Especially the midpipe. Then there's shipping fees. They rake us over the coals since we ship to residential addresses.

Id be looking for $500 obo for both.

Dont really need to sell it, but if the opportunity is present and easy enough to do, then I will.

That you want to go back to stock from Megan. April Fools. You really had everyone going.

I see. I can repost tomorrow if you'd like.

Or I can tell you that we're expecting triplets in a month and M is used a commuter/carpool vehicle about once a week. And D. C. is a cest pool pot holes, recessed man holes a metal plates on pavement. If I was back in Tampa, the car would stay as is, but commuting in this city is not made for lowered low profile rim vehicles.

So it's more cost effective to return the car to stock and sell the mods for the money we'll need to 3 of everything.

So my wheels are sold, as well as the upper control arms.

The springs and BBK will be coming off in a couple weeks.

The exhaust is the one thing that doesn't effect ride quality. I actually love the exhaust, but if I'm going back to full stock, might as well do the exhaust as well.

If its easy enough to do locally.

So $250 for each seems fair. $500 for the kit. Plus a OEM exhaust that isn't rusted or bent.

$500 is not a lot of diapers when your talking about x3. But it helps.

Reread this after midnight, maybe then you'll believe it.

I'm in Northern VA. I would like to trade with you, but I also am on a tight budget. Would you be willing to do 400, I'll do all the labor, take yours off and mine and put it back. Let me know.

Cool. Yeah whole kit with everything I have on there now, plus the new set of rotors and pads.

We're going to start taking everything off on the 12th so I'll hit you up.

I may be able to meet you Saturday. Shoot me a text. 301-379-7021. Would love to see/hear the exhaust before you pull it off the car if possible.

The exhaust isnt coming off during the strip down. The exhaust will stay on unless I have some one local willing to trade. So it wil still be on the car, until we're ready to swap.

You wouldn't happen to be taking a trip to Tampa anytime soon, would you? If so, I'm looking for a Megan exhaust system and would be highly interested.

Pardon my newbie question but would this exhaust work on a 07 m35x... I'm in columbia, MD and I'm in the northern VA area all the time so I figured I'd ask (though I know I should spend some time researching the fitment first).

In any case, congrats on the triplets. We have three boys and it's been fun but I can't imagine three the same age. All the best.

Thank you.

Oh wow, I didn't think they were interchangeable... Well then, I'm game for the trade. I would like to talk offline on the cash portion though if you're open to it. With all the recent snow, my wife must have backed over a small drift and I'm in the process of replacing the driver's side muffler (just spent $150 for a nice used one that wasn't all rusted and scraped up and am waiting to have it installed). I guess since I don't have a stock exhaust just laying around, this would be a true trade - yours for mine - car to car. How much will it cost you to R&R your Megan exhaust? Maybe they can put both our cars up and swap them in the shop at the same time and share the cost? I'm just thinking of costs for the R&R for myself (on top of that stupid muffler replacement) but I've been looking for the exhaust upgrade for some time now and would be eager to work it out. If this is too much hassle for you, I understand... As before, I figured I'd ask the questions. Please let me know if you're open to the discussion.
