Trade for the Megan exhaust?

Oh wow, I didn't think they were interchangeable... Well then, I'm game for the trade. I would like to talk offline on the cash portion though if you're open to it. With all the recent snow, my wife must have backed over a small drift and I'm in the process of replacing the driver's side muffler (just spent $150 for a nice used one that wasn't all rusted and scraped up and am waiting to have it installed). I guess since I don't have a stock exhaust just laying around, this would be a true trade - yours for mine - car to car. How much will it cost you to R&R your Megan exhaust? Maybe they can put both our cars up and swap them in the shop at the same time and share the cost? I'm just thinking of costs for the R&R for myself (on top of that stupid muffler replacement) but I've been looking for the exhaust upgrade for some time now and would be eager to work it out. If this is too much hassle for you, I understand... As before, I figured I'd ask the questions. Please let me know if you're open to the discussion.

Megan lists the same part number for 06-10, 35/45.

So overall, what condition is your exhaust.

From what I'm told, exhaust including mid's and passenger side muffler are solid - full disclosure - it's an '07 and I'm in MD and it has been driven in the snow/salt since it is AWD and has 113k miles on it. Driver's side muffler needs repair/replacing because it cracked at the flange (shop was willing to repair it for cheap or replace it with a used one and I opted for the latter though I haven't had them install it yet). By the way, just saw a post that a forum member found the megan racing mids AND axleback for $668.80 ($334.80 each), brand new, shipped - THMotorsports with a promo code.

Your kind of worrying me with talks of cracked flanges, and road salt. And you haven't swapped tge broken muffer yet?

You have to ship me yours first. So I can mount and install. My exhaust is still on my M. Id be left without a car otherwise.

Trandwho205 hasn't replied. And at $500 plus shipping both ways, it doesn't makes sense for him. He can just get a new set shipped. Unless he has a shipping account set up.

On the other hand. I'm kind of worried about your exhaust. I would really need to lift your car and look at it. It sounds like it may have gotten a bit of salt on it. How did the flange break, because of rust? I really don't want to change the exhaust and find out after another winter like we just had that I have to replace it.

Agreed, this winter really took a toll on the exhaust. Yes, it was because of rust but it seems like the drivers side was the most affected - the rest of the exhaust actually looks pretty good. All right my man... I guess I will just go another route. All the best.

I'm kinda interested but at $400 I'd rather just pay the difference for a new set and keep my stock pipes just in case I want to go back. If you were trading straight up I'd think about it.
