Had a quick question. This is my first car with a TPMS system and I am looking at getting winter tires. Yes I know it's february but the M45 I purchased came with summer tires and we are still expecting snow fall so I'm not risking ending up in a wall or ditch.

I'm heading to Discount Tire, which I have had previous work done at and liked, and was wondering if their systems will work with the OEM one. I searched and found that I can head to the Infiniti dealership and have it synced up supposedly but I just wanted to double check with everyone who has done this first. Thanks ahead of time.

Keep us posted... I would like to know since the Infiniti OEM wheel sensors are about $45 a piece.

I bought winter tires for my M35X this winter. Here is the original thread: zerothread?id=384624

After driving with these all winter, I have found them more than acceptable. I have had no problems going wherever I want, whenever I want, in the Iowa winter...as long as the snow depth doesn't significantly exceed the clearance under the car. Note that I went with 17" winter tires/wheels so I could get some smaller tires and save some money. The TPMS sensors work like a charm, no issues all winter long.

I had to replace 2 of them on my G35 Coupe (one failed, one was damaged on tire mounting) and that is what I paid for them... Unless they're cheaper for the G35 Coupe?? I didn't get specific tire pressure readings, they only activated a warning system when the tire pressure fell 5lbs below recommended pressure.
