Towing with 2009 nissan Rogue

I just replaced my nissan truck with an 09 nissan Rogue and would like to know how is it towing. I have a small trailer for my quad & a 14 foot fishing boat on a trailer.

The Rogue tows quite well. I regularly tow a 8x10' landscape trailer with no difficulty. If you have the paddle shift option, it's even better as you get a higher tow rating and the ability to downshift for engine braking.

Many have commented on the 'low' towing rating for the Rogue. The Rogue has similar tow rating to other vehicles in it's class with 4cyl engines, namely the Rav4, CR-V, and Ford Escape.

1500lbs - paddle shift equipped models1000lbs - non-paddle shift models

Be sure your boat and trailer combination do not exceed the recommended towing capacity.
