Wow! this thread is old, well the search function is my best friend when it comes to doin swaps...
Anyways, any new guys out there in the rb community have the top hats, etc.... would love to c some pics of rb25s with em... primarily how they mount etc in the bay.
I know the mckinneys mount fairly low and back. Just curious!

we just had a big thread on these and about how someone got shafted by tophat....go with mckinney. dont bother trying to cut corners it doesnt work with these swaps

Who ever said they got screwed over by top hat is full of it!!! Mike takes care of everyone without question. If there is a person saying that, ask them if they called Mike and told him they were having a problem and they will say no. Im now a full time tech for top hat and if youd call him with your problem, he'd take care of it.

SHift_Lock is right. The ammount of BS over Top Hat mounts being crap is insane.
Most people complaining of them didn't buy Top Hat mounts (They may have thought they did...) they got cheap knock-offs. THis is not my section to moderate, but when it gets so out of hand, I get a phone call from a friend to clear this up, it infuriates me.
Please, do not doubt the quality of true TOp Hat Performance RB mounts. I have complete faith in Mike and TOp hat to deliver quality products to the community, otherwise I wouldn't talk to them.
(Ever wonder why I don't talk to E from E and E? or some other local GA 240 guys/shops....yeah..there's a reason.)
I don't like NICO, myself or Mike being associated with scams and ripoffs, and this has to stop.
IF anyone has information on how they got shafted on this, let me know and I will work my best to resolve the issue for you.
Top Hat has, and will be, a reliable, and honest company. To anyone that got cheap rip-off mounts being masqueraded as TOp Hat mounts, I am sorry...but please don't say TOp Hat scrwed you, tell everyone the shop that sold them as Top Hat mounts screwed you.
