Each Top Hat performance mount has a very large "C" cut in the upper mount, it stands for "Core" performance products, which is what Mike manufactures the mounts under.

If you want these mounts to last I would recommend eleminating the "C" out of the design... looks like a potential spot for a fatigue failure to me... just be careful Top Hat... maybe use a sticker or at least something not in the metal to show they are yours

I doubt that will happen. There was a set in a car that T-Boned another car The mounts were unharmed. The radiator support was wrapped around the motor.

Alot of the welds on the copy cat mounts look like cold welds.I would be more concerned about that.

i cant seem to find any info on these mounts at the E-E website....anyone help me out? do they have pix there and pricing?

A fatigue failure would come from cycling and age... not nessisarily an impact. I doubt that your mounts have been around long enough for this to really show up, and they look as though they are designed well enough that they would at least last until now.... I'm talking several thousand miles later. Just wanted to help...
