You don't understand, Jason. I can get $120 tint job with Formula One or Ziebart or whatever, but that's a dyed plastic or a metalized film that will deteriorate.
The labor isn't the cost, it's this new tint. It's unreal.
I got to test a car that has it, and it's amazing. Even in the blazing AZ sun, there was NO heat coming through the side and rear glass... Nearly 100% UV protection. The interior surface of the glass was the same temp as any other surface of the car, and the A/C cooled it in a jiffy.
City of Phoenix is using this ceramic-coating technology on its bus windows. Consider that ceramic coatings are used in the aerospace and racing industries to seal off parts from heat, and you'll see why this stuff is amazing.
Lifetime warranty, transferable. They also warranty your interior from drying/cracking (FOR LIFE) if applied on a new car. Not a bad investment for your $40K car, IMO.
I it was costing me $700, I wouldn't be doing it, BTW. I'm a po' white child.
