At LEAST don't paint it at all.

But it would be best if you paint the whole thing.

People who insist on leaving carbon fiber visible just to show their modz are dumb.
you've been posting a lot of negative stuff lately

Leave it bare. It will look nice with the rest of the paint-scheme.
Pretty much.

That way I always win.

Good plan huh?

=)

But honestly, sure people local to you and the people who aren't all about real styling will think it's cool to have a half painted hood.

Some people like to have raw carbon fiber.

It makes a statement that you spent money on a lighter hood for your car and it isn't metal.

But then again, some people buy mods so their friends notice.

While others want their car to look clean.

Don't worry, I still love you.

<3!!!

me personally, i hate the look of a painted cf hood IF it has any sort of vents. a stock styled cf hood i would paint, but if it wasn't stock style it looks awkward body colored

don't paint it. especially since the car will be grey. why paint something that's already gray?

Yeah if the car is going to be grey then keep it unpainted CF. It will blend fairly good unpainted.

So would your head explode if someone asked what should they do about an FRP hood?

Well we KNOW you don't care what people say.

Because if you did you would have side skirts and a rear valance to match your front bumper/lip instead of your car looking like a monster truck snow plow.

But it's cool.

Because you have a picture of an incomplete motor in your sig.

So that makes it all better.

I would LOVE to have a full kit.

Still doing research as to what is best quality/fit/price

Also, the car is parked for now. I am unsure about buying a local KA-T that is put together already, or starting ground up on an SR20.

I want to be positive that the moves I make are the correct ones.

TY for props on the snow plow

Too bad it never snows around me...

One last bump for you guys that haven't seen it. Thanks for all the opinions so far.

I'm really leaning towards not painting it now. It'll be cheaper, and personally with a gray car, I think it looks better. Any more opinions/imput are welcome.

Leave it, it looks better and if you ever want to sell it you would get more for it.
