looked around Bat's website for pics of the red G above and nothing yet. I wanted to see how it looks for the back looking at the omni directional antenna that's not overlayed. Dunno yet if it's going to look wierd. What do you guys think?

IMO the only reason for using the overlay would be to see if you liked it before committing to paint. Paint will always look better than an overlay because you can wax it and shine it up like the rest of the car. Vinyl is going to slowly oxidize over time. Ya, the red antenna looks weird on that G, but it does give you an idea of how the colour scheme looks; and it looks hot to me.

I agree and I'm really leaning towards to doing it. After all, It's only paint and money so what the hell right?

man, ive debated over this mod FOREVER in my mind...you know what would be hot? getting the whole roof in tinted fiber-glass!!! anyways i think painting it would be hot but you'll prolly have to paint the top sides of the rear glass too...because the roof isnt straight on with the rear windshield

So I'm debating on whether or not to get my roof painted Gloss Black or not. I was going to go with a black vinyl overlay but I think it'll be cheesy looking and the only way to do it right is to just get it painted. What do you guys think?
