Tired of your ugly fabric door inserts in your S13?

Kenrik, your right about that.. some panels wont leave any glue gunk after you take the fabric off.. my drivers side just barely left any at all.. but my passenger side was a different story.. it must just depend on where the car was located? or maybe how slowly you take them off... or- maybe your just that lucky

For anyone thinking it'll be easy to "re-cover" that area, good luck.

It's concave, with several complex curves, so uinless you have some vacuum-forming equipment, it ain't gonna happen.

See those holes? That's where Nissan vacu-formed the plastic backing onto the door panel (with tweed attached) when they made the door panels.

I have considered cutting out the vinyl on the center section and having it fiberglassed, smoothed and painted...

Suffice it to say, S13 door panels SUCK and there's not much we can do to make them look better...

My way was much easier

1. Grab an edge2. Pull off fabric3. Repeat

Ha worked well for me and looked fine, I guess I got lucky?
