I think what he meant was he's learned new things about clear side markers and blinkers from this thread. He's an OP(original poster).cmkelly wrote:??? Are you keeping score on your way to 100? .....
I removed and installed bumpers myself and saved some money on the labor. I only paid for paint and labor for the spray. Man... front bumper was not easy to remove cuz space was so tight. A foot long extension is a must. No matter what, do not paint body parts while they are on the car.biggie wrote:I have a lot of paint flaking on both bumpers, but just gonna get the entire car reprayed cheaply sometime. Also need to line everything up perfectly in the front.
Been a while since I've removed a USDM bumper, but don't remember it being that tight. Give me something to do this fall/winter.94_240sx wrote:

Oh! I forgot. It's because of air box on driver's side. If you already removed it then no problem. If you still have it, you need a foot long extension.biggie wrote:Been a while since I've removed a USDM bumper, but don't remember it being that tight. Give me something to do this fall/winter.
Ah, I still have it on this one, just removed the lower part. But can also remove it just for this task.94_240sx wrote:

Yup! 2-3 bolts are holding it.biggie wrote:Ah, I still have it on this one, just removed the lower part. But can also remove it just for this task.
Then I'll go ahead and install my future CAI before taking the bumper off and driving it down to Maaco94_240sx wrote:

You can clearcoat the rattle can job... sheesh, do we need to spell out everything for you?Loki wrote:A whole repaint with rattle cans? I could, but I think it'd look really awkward without the gloss of a clearcoat.
Yes I am only 18, just out of high school, working on my first car, and was never all that into cars before I bought mine last year. Can I easily obtain the stuff needed to clearcoat it on my own? Although I suppose if I took the bumper off, rattlecanned, then took it to the body shop for just a clearcoat it'd be much cheaper than the 275 to do everything.ishkabibble wrote:sheesh, do we need to spell out everything for you?

They're Canadian Daytime Running Lights (DRLs). Courtesy Nissan sells them (http://www.courtesynissan.com), you can also find them used on forum classifieds and Ebay, or Dexter can walk across the Canadian border and pick you up a pair.Black Pearl wrote:Any body know where to get the Fog lights that will fit below the turn signals,BP
