Has anyone had a TPS go BAD? Just had my tires rotated and the TPS light on the dash blinks on and off and then stays on. Had it reset and stayed off for about a mile and yhen started to blink again and then stayed on. Could the sensor have gone bad?

Possibly. Try to pull the diagnostic codes, the procedure is in this thread:

And the manual on pg WT-8 and WT-11.

Did you check your tires' pressure?
Put a little more than recommended, something like 35 psi, and see if the light goes off.
Either the pressure is a little low or one sensor may have drifted a bit.

Remember that the temperature has decreased lately, so we will have our usual TPMS complaints season coming soon.

The Goodyear store had just rotated my tires and I feel that they had to have done something. The last rotation I had done there had no trouble. They played with the air pressure to no avail. What do you me that one sensor may have DRIFTED a bit?

I mean that instead of measuring 33psi when the pressure is 33psi, it may now read only 31. So, even if the pressure is correct, the sensor, which has drifted, will tell you that the pressure is no correct. A sensor is just a piece of equipment like any other, and those sensor are not accurate, just tough enough to withstand the use.

But, first of whole, you should control your tire pressure, first thing in the morning before starting the car. You may just be low in pressure in one or more of them. Do you check them regularly (i.e every month)?

Yes, I do check the tire pressure in the AM before driving. It's funny that this problem began after having the tires rotated at a Goodyear store.

Strange.
I don't see how you can damage a TPMS while rotating tires. While changing rubber, yes, but just rotating tires, you just remove the tires and change their place on the car.

In my view, you have two choices: either go back at the goodyear store to tell what happened and hoping for their goodwill to help you, or go to your dealer.
Do you have a scantool to know what code you have when the light is on?
