Actually, now that I look at that Cedric LSD, it looks to me like a Viscous, and someone got really scammed, haha.

And you'd be an idiot for thinking that

You can SEE the helical gears....

Wait, aren't you the one who posted that on Z ilvia?I don't think it's out of a Cedric or a Gloria though, they came with VLSD's. Unless it's a 2000-up model, I don't know about those.

I am. You can see the tops of the gears sticking out of hte case. From what I can gather, it was the australian/russian models that came with the helical, only.

I'm so tired of this ****--- it's definitely a helical! I don't remember seeing you there during the install....

No, it's fine. But if you look at the pic you can see the ends of the gears...vlsds don't have that (I know, I had one).

Here's great thread about how to take the diff out.

zerothread/245825

I installed the diff back on the car last night with no problem. My wife helped me with a floor jack. Believe it or not, rear sway bar helped a lot. Good thing that I didn't remove it. Jacked up the diff and put the final drive shaft on the sway bar and it was easy to maneuver that way. I felt like installation was easier because I didn't have to break loose all those tight bolts and nuts.

Sorry for the late reply. You can get them from here.

http://japanparts.com/db/parts...ll=19

If you scroll down, you will see their part number '1205G-148-RS500' in Nismo section. That's it. I talked to Ken w/japanparts.com and he added the bolt to their catalog for me.
