I got mine professionally done at a local place called solar gaurd. The tint itself is high gloss, premuim tint. Limo tint is 7% and the darkest they offered was 5%....So 5% it was:D

And as far as any tint on a car... In my opinion, a car with tint looks 100x better:cool:

However dark is entirely up to you, but i'm sure you will like it!

Here is another pic of how reflective it is...

Wow! You guys in Cali pay up the wazoo! A tint job with a lifetime warranty around here will run you about 60 to 70 bucks. You can get the cheapo job for $35.

BTW, I always tint, and always will. Not only does the car look better, but it saves the interior. No dash cracking and hot seats.

PS. Some Highway Head is only available with tints......

I get mine pretty chep cuz i send my guy alot of bizz. But 140 for my s13 and then 155 for the s14 I now have With the sunroof done. With 20% on the sides and 4% up on the sunroof its THE BEST it keeps the heat out and I can see at night. I hate mirror tint looks fugly Black looks hot But thats my thoughts

I have a friend that works at Honda, and he does the tinting, professionally done of course and he does all of my friends and my parents cars for $95, lifetime warranty. I used to love the 5% tint, but I dont like it anymore, in Texas, it Beleive its like 35% on all windows and as dark as you want in the back. Someone correct me.

i got my tints done for 80$.. with lifetime warranty in nyc... 15% hatch and rear glass panels.. and 35% in front... looked real nice but yet.. at night you can't see anything behind you if you're in reverse and there's no street lamp.. but then again... u can't really see without the tints too.. haha.. just put some hyper white reverse lights and trust me.. it brightens up the place a lot!...

tinted. how else are you gonna get busy w/o popo's gettin all up your business?

haha, I just had to say that (there was that post on sex in the 240 somewhere floating around).

I just tinted mine and most people like it, they think it looks sportier.

I feel alot more comfortable in my car now, since people can't see me as well :).

Just please don't get that nasty purple tint, that is nasty. Unless your car is purple, then it makes sense.

I had 15% on my Cavy... It did not bother me at night sence most people use thier headlights and you can see them through the tint easy. It may have even blocked out light coming in from the side. Which in turn made it easier for me to see ahead.

I did almost pull out infront of some hick in a beat up truck at 3am because he did not have his lights on. I would certainly recomend extra caution though. (rolling down windows at certain intersections)

I think i had my window down tho... it was years ago.

I think i am gonna get rid of my 35% mirror tint and get some 15% black tint. I loved that stuff. Oh it would look so nice on my White 240 :D

tint turns purple because they are dyed films and as time passes they fade and turn purple. also i think if you tint the moonroof it may crack because the glass is kinda flimsy and the tint absorbs the heat making the glass even hotter.

I got 20% on both my cars and it look good on my 90 Gray Coupe! But not so good on my 95 RED SE. So I think It really depend on the color of the car. BUt who care what people think long as you don't make it rice you be ok!

I got professional mobile tinting here in FL, came out to wherever I was and did it in about a hour. 5% all around, $110.

If you use tint remover your tint should just peel right off w/o sticking. Your window defrost lines won't come off.

Get metallic based tint. It's still black, but it won't change colors & it should reflect more heat than it absorbs.

From the inside

Inside w/ flash

Windshield. I had him tint the top 6" strip over the factory window tint, and you can see it start about 1/8 the way up.

I had 5% in the back at first! I can't see anything at night when I look to the back. Even with 20% on the Side I can't see that good at night. But I love the look on the car with the tint on!

I havn't seen the most important reason for tinting yet. I know I'm not the only guy that has seen that chicks are much more likely to give road head in a car that has tinted windows than one with clear. So, If you ask me, its pretty obvious!
