like i said b/4:

u dont nessecerly have to let ur car sit until the gas evaporates, its actually a bad idea because (someone correct me if im wrong) but if its floded the gas will get down to your oil n u dont want that.

what i do, is take the fuse for the pump off so it dont send gas (its under the dash by the door) n take off all the sparkplugs n turn the engine till all the gas is out, u will see the gas comeout as it hits compression then just put new plugs n it shoul be fine.

run it until it dies that way the new plugs can burn all that its left, then put you fuel pump fuse back on n it should start.

look if u have douths about it just do a compression test, it shouls have around 150 give or take on each cylinder since the motor is cold if it was runing then it should be alot more.....

well, if it didnt stay on, your timing is off. Since it turned on, your timing is close, but not there yet.swivel the distributor a bit.

my car did not stay on the first time or the second, but after swiveling the distributor a bit, it stayed on.
