i like the way it sounds...Ok really srt8, up i think its sounds like a small block V8 only crusing...But then when you punch it, well you know..Its then distinguished..4cyl will appear..But its dounds real deep at WOT. Not too raspy at all..just screams..Neighbors will begin to hate...Cops will think twice..

I could imagine it been awfully loud on a n/a motor..i dono though..my gt spec was crazy loud with the kade..

Thanks guys! Im glad you like it...

I would actually love to make another one but not to sell haha...I might do them for my cheap *** friends if they ever want them...

And yeah, I know, my pants never stay up...

I like the straight pipe on that redtop but it would be crazy on N/A

My car is begging for a wash, its been too cold lately...

And well....Ill get back to you on the total price I spent because I did get alot of it for a discount and I can return some of my metal for a refund...

Thanks again fellas!

damn dude, thats some fancy welding! clean ride as well, i needa get some kouki lights for my hatchie ++

PS, ive got a question! is it possible to reuse my old cat that was welded onto my old stock muffler? i was thinking about cutting it off and then getting a bracket (is it even possible to find just the bracket thingy? aha where the bolts go, sorry dunkno the terminology) and just welding it on?

Your cat was welded to your muffler? or to the exhaust tubing without using a flange? I guess you could just get an exhaust flange and then weld that to whatever, and it will bolt on and off like a non welded cat or testpipe...Do a google search for exhaust flanges or just straight up order from Columbia River Mandrel Bends. I drove there and picked mine up...

Haha Ive wanted a Sileighty with Kouki tails for a long time...So I got one. Coilovers soon, as you can see I need them terribly!

Thanks for the compliments guys...

And yes, I plan on getting an SR within the next year if thats what you mean 24j0hn

How do you like it without a resonator? Does it have an annoying drone to it at highway/cruising speeds?

For the exhaust pros: How much different do you think it would sound with a high flow cat and resonator? 2.5" instead?

yes, it was welded onto the exhaust tubing for some reason... are all cats supposed to be welded on?

Please tell me you didn't use 3 inch on an n/a motor , if you did (your planning to go turbo or swap in a turbo motor i hope ) you need back pressure with a N/A motor you have nice welds though definitely give you props on that . I like the sound but your going to loose bottom end power . Ive done it before and it felt like my car (not my 240 now ) had a lot of top end but no guts. Im running obx 4-2-1 header on my 240 with 2.1/4 inch straight through exhaust to a 3 inch inlet tip on a dual tip muffler. If you like it that's fine but you would gain more out of a smaller exhaust . Im not trying to demean you just trying to help . Great project and great effort , good experience .

Every cat Ive seen just bolts on and off but I dont know honestly...

I have only drove it for a few miles on the highway but it didnt seem bad...Just a bit louder when cruising...

Looks as good as any other exhaust out there.

To the guy who's worried about losing bottom end from a 3 inch exhaust. There's lots of n/a ka guys that runs 3 inch exhaust. I've ran 2 ka's with over 3 inch apex'i n1 exhaust and didn't notice any loss in power.

Stop lying. You have no proof of this on a KA24. There's tons of dyno sheets that prove 3" exhaust gives you the most gains, with no loses. Back pressure is never a good thing.

Anyways, good looking exhaust!

/\/\- That exhaust sounds pretty freaking sweet. Loud for my personal taste but freakin sweet!

OP- Very very awesome that you made your own Exhaust. Looks Great! Maybe a sound clip next?

Nice job on the exhaust, looks really good. Your weld beads leave something to be desired though. Just a little constructive critism from an experienced welder.
