Good welds, poor design.

Air hates sudden +15* bends at a time. You should have done a few more smaller turns to decrease restrictions. On the N/A you'll probably not loose anything, but on a turbo thats flowing much more air, you've created a resistance. It's not a factor with Mandrel bends cause they're smooth and consistant in diameter.

Not bad at all for homebrew! I like seeing folks taking measures into their own hands!

However, my real HKS HiPower is slightly better built. But prob cost 3-4x what yours did...

Looked good until you added the can.I woulda ended it with the same 3" piping you were working with.

Yeah NW Oregon here

Thanks ddgsxr504...I know Im not the best welder haha...I did what I could and Im sure it will hold fine...

I dont really know the total yet. Im returning some unused material today so maybe Ill have a build cost tonight...I alot of it at a discount though so it might not be the most accurate..

Technically those were mandrel bends haha..Just cut up to get the bend I wanted ni the path. Our bender doesnt do 3"...So its what I had to do...

3" straight pipe would be super super super loud....Its plenty loud as is haha

Thanks for looking guys!

Stop lying. You have no proof of this on a KA24. There's tons of dyno sheets that prove 3" exhaust gives you the most gains, with no loses. Back pressure is never a good thing.

Anyways, good looking exhaust!
So here's a link im not completely wrong but not right at the same time my Apologies for not being 100% http://www.uucmotorwerks.com/h...h.htm

So it will be put to rest .

To the people who were wondering, it cost me $371 to build this exhaust.
