No dimmer switch - does that mean your dash lights are always one brightness only? Seems strange to me (don't take offense) but it would be nice to dim the dash lights for long distance night driving. I do that a lot.

My car came from Mexico too (all North American Versas do). The Canadian SL has ABS, power windows, locks, 6 disc changer, height adjustable seat and cruise control as standard. We have no digital A/C nor leather seats, nor the sliding rear seat. Bluetooth, subwoofer, and satellite radio comes as a Tech package, while sunroof, foglights, spoilers and side skirts come as a Sport package that must be bought with Tech package. My car is just the regular SL. I wanted the Sport package but didn't care for the Tech package features, so I ended up with the normal SL with CVT.

I don't care about the dimmer switch, i had it in other car and didn't use it, i like it bright, even in a long distance night driving. I toght that versas were made in USA.

iluvmyVersa08,My colleague has an 09 CVT SL hatch. His has a "FE+" sticker beneath the SL badge (FE+ = improved fuel economy; seen tons of new Versas and Sentras with this sticker). IMO, the FE+ looks absolutely stupid, and to chemists (I am one), we automatically think extra iron added to the car. I haven't seen a Versa with CVT badging yet. Modified by mosquito_R at 11:46 AM 10/16/2009
Sorry, you are right the Versa's have the FE+ sticker. MY brother's 09 Sentra has the CVT sticker, and NOT the FE+ sticker. Here is the only picture I have of my brother's Sentra's rear that shows the sticker. (I don't take many pics of his car, lol, this was one of the one's that shows the CVT sticker. It's the same thing that Barra bought).

I bought only the SE-R badge, the other badges came in the car. Like i said before, in Brazil we don't have tiida's with cvt, that badge that is the same as cvt badge is a FLEXFUEL badge.

Here we can use 100% ethanol, or 100% gasoline or we can mix both fuels in any proportion.

I ise 100% ethanol all the time, cause it's cheaper than gasoline.

Using ethanol the car spends more fuel but in the end with the ethanol lower price it compensates.

Ethanol spends +-30% more than gasoline.

Here in Brazil every bulb with 55w is allowed but the collor must be yellow or white.

I have the original bulbs in the car because the police officers here are crazy, and if one of then stops me and tell that it`s not allowed i can replace the bulbs and he can`t do anything.

In Brazil the HID kit`s are not allowed.

There was no law about hid kits and since the kits get very cheap people here began to buy it a lot and the hid kits made too much glare and people begin to complain.

Now there is a law that prohibits the hid.

Only cars with original xenon are allowed.

JJ i almost bought one like this, but i had a problem with my credit card.

Pretty good, go for it, very cheap and i use it everyday, best thing that i bought to my V.

I want to drive on rain with the yellow headlights to check if it's better tha the white's, but my V is in my mother's home waiting for me, I'm using my sister's car these days and now in Brazil is the raining period.

I can't wait to get my car back, my sister's car suck.

It's a Land Rover defender 90 diesel, very uncomfortable vehicle.

When i get the V in a raining night i wil tell you if the yellow's are better or not.

Looks good. Auto or 5speed?

Question: Is there any difference between the Versa and Tiida(exterior wise)?

very jealous of your OEM 7-spoke rims!
Call me picky, but my 6-spoke look very formal and dull.
I will get 5 or 7 spokers eventually...
you?

I would like to buy the new 2010 16" rims, they are very beautifull, but it's very expensive here in Brazil.

It's not hard, the only hard thing is to take off the transponder from the original key, a locksmith did it to me in my other folding key (check the other model in first page).
