The door protecton mouldings are made in Brazil by Forche.

http://www.forche.com.br/

I bought it here:

http://www.proautosom.com.br/l...carro

Please contact Patricia on MSN: [email protected] and check if it's possible to send te item to you.

It's not cheap but it's a high quality item.

It costs 250 usd painted with your car color.

hrdcorpdrummer15 what a coincidence. That's the best place to put the badge.

The DLAA is a chinese company, try to find it on internet to buy, i think you can find it more cheaper than i found.
I tried looking for the DLAA fog lights but had trouble with the DLAA website and couldn't find any on Ebay. Are they made specially for the Versa or are the universal?

Take a look at this topic:

http://forums.nissanversa.org/zerothread/446125

I post links where you can buy dlaa kit.

The kit is made for versas, the only thing that won't fit is the bezel, you will have to do the hole on your bezel or buy a new set of bezels with holes.

Can you post a pic where you installed the switch? I would like to see what it would look like installed...

Thank you.

That's awesome. Looks amazing.

So those pieces do just pop out of there so you can add the switch? I don't want to have to do any cutting of any kind. Thanks for the quick response.

Your a great help man!

I didn't see the installation process, but i think you don't have to do any cutting to install the switch. The fog kit is a very high quality item. You can buy it with no regrets.

Aftermarket splash guards.

Bought it here.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors..._1180

I didn't like the final result, the color is diferent, but i have a product to spray on it and to be more black.

Is it the same as the original one or it's different?

SE R wannabe:

I bought this muffler, tried to put it last night but it's not very easy to do, i think the tiida's from china had a different exhaust.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors..._1166

I will try to install it later and i will take some photos.

Thanks

My leds arrived yesterday, but the license plate led came with problem.

I bought it on vleds.com

I bought white leds for the interior, ambar leds for parking lights and white leds for the license plate.

Pics:

License plate leds with problem:

One with 7 leds burned and one with 2 (total of 8 leds each):

The license plate was beautifull, a shame that they burned so fast.

The other leds are ok.

I like the amount of work you've done to your car so far.

When do the performance mods start?

The Tiida's in Brazil have 3 years warranty, so i can't do performance mods, the only thing i did about performance was the kn inbox and i have the original air filter in the car in case i need to go to Nissan dealer, i can change it fast.

I would like to put wheels like yours and springs, but here in brazil ours streets are not like US streets and my car with original supension and wheels suffer wiht the bad condition of the Brazilian streets. You can imagine if it had low springs and 17-18" wheels.

I thinking about change the wheels for a set of 16" oem wheels and don't change the springs.

Next upgrade will be the oem rear spoiler.

Thanks.

Hey barra, it's a very nice Tiida you have! I have a question for you: was it difficult to replace the parking lights? I would like to use white instead of amber, but it looks like a tight squeeze to get behind the headlight housing. Please let me know if it was just a simple 10-minute job.

By the way, it's interesting that you have Flex Fuel badging on the back. I thought it was the badge for Xtronic CVT. Versas in Canada don't have that CVT badge, but I would love to have one.

Thanks!

it`s not a 10-minute job, it`s a ONE minute job.

It`s very easy to remove the parking light`s, you just have to rotate the plug to left to remove it, if you can`t do it with your hands you will have to use pliers.

In brazil we don`t have tiida with cvt, only 6 speed manual and 4 speed auto, but the sentra`s are cvt and have the logo just like the flex fuel logo.

If you want, i can check on the dealer the price of the xtronic cvt badge, but i can tell you it will be expensive, cause everything in nissan dealer is expensive, but i can check it for you if you want.

You can try ebay also.

this is what you want:

Hey Mosquito_R.My Versa also did not come with the CVT badge (it's an 08 model). However, my brother just bought an 09 Sentra SE-R about one month ago, and he has the badging on his car for CVT. And I saw on the dealership lot, that the Versa's sitting there also had the CVT badging. Must only be the newer models that have it. Personally I don't really care if I have that or not, I think it would be too cluttered on the back of the Versa.

barra,

Thanks for the advice on the parking light bulbs. Maybe I'll need a pair of pliers.

That's the badge I want. But I saw it on ebay and it's super expensive. Maybe I'll ask the dealer next time I'm there. I've seen this badge on new Cubes and Sentras.

My car's rebadged as Tiida (yes, you can call me a ricer!). I kinda want to have the CVT badge to make it look more distinctive, and to have the hatch lid look like your car!

Also, out of curiosity, where is the dimmer switch for your instrument lights? Shouldn't that be placed where your foglight switch is?

BTW, nice Scangauge install. Mine's hanging over the top right of the instrument cluster (over the fuel gauge and upper right corner of the speedo). I practically don't read the tach and speedo anymore - I just use the Scangauge to check on km/h and rpm.

iluvmyVersa08,My colleague has an 09 CVT SL hatch. His has a "FE+" sticker beneath the SL badge (FE+ = improved fuel economy; seen tons of new Versas and Sentras with this sticker). IMO, the FE+ looks absolutely stupid, and to chemists (I am one), we automatically think extra iron added to the car. I haven't seen a Versa with CVT badging yet.

Thanks to both of you for replying my post. And I must say, I do like both of your cars.

Mosquito, my car doesn't got the dimmer switch.Tiida's sold in Brazil came from Mexico and they don't have optionals (only the option of automatic trans).

Only two versions, S and SL, both came complete but the SL has sunroof, abs, fogs, armrest (front and rear), ajustable rear seat, 2 din radio with 6 disc, driver's seat height ajustable, Digital air conditioner, cruise control, leather seats and steering wheel.

I wanted to buy the SL but the dealer didn't have it, i would have to wait 40 days for an SL, and i finally bought the S that was in the dealer.

here you can check the pdf of brazilian tiida's.

http://www.nissan.com.br/Nissa...x.pdf

It is in portuguese.
