I may be able to dispute it up to 3 MPH lower.. Id say I was just making the 1-2 shift at 6000 RPM, which was at about 52 MPH. Plus, since im running different than stock sized tires my speedo reads different anyway.....

I wont count on the cop not showing up, small town and theres 4 cops total (i got screwed by the one sorta unmarked one).. Am I correct in this thinking??

If I go to court, I plead NOT GUILTY, and the cop isnt there, its like nothing happened, right????

I wanna make sure I cover all my grounds before I decide to do something... My court appearance isnt for another month!

Cop will be there. I wouldn't protest. Even if you say you were going slower, you were still speeding. Plead guilty and ask for court supervision. Just don't go out and get another speeding ticket!

When the 240sx was on the road I sped most of the time but yet gotta love cruise control. However, I can't speed in the Datsun Wagon unless I don't pay attention to signs that say 35 or 40mph. :pface

I always heard that if the cop or the othe party doesn't show up its dismissed.

I dont really want to go into a school, but maybe I'll try that supervision thing....... I just dont really want it to go on my record, becuase it was a sorta rare occasion!

Nah I just paid like 37 more. . and the ticket doesn't go on my record. . you don't get a ticket for 6 more months, and you're fine. . I'm not sure if it works for all counties tho. . but I'd imagine it does.

I've got a ticket now, and I also paid deferment on my last one. . within 6 months. .which means, if I accept this ticket. . I get hit with TWO tickets. .

I know.. it was dumb. .

How often do cops actually show up to court?

All the time. It's like a field trip for them.

The same way you redline any car. . when the tach needle hits the red mark on the tach, then you've redlined it. WOT will redline an auto, then it will shift. half throttle will shift earlier. . 1/4 throttle will shift even earlier. . etc etc. .

Just push down on the gas pedal to wot, and magically you are at redline. It'll shift and then repeat!

(My car is not an auto...)
