Hey, I've been doing a lot of researching lately in trying to find someone that makes a thermal gasket for the throttle body. There are plenty of intake manifold thermal gaskets out there but I have yet to find a single place that carries a thermal gasket for the tb. Anyone find anything or have any info for anything like this? It's be appreciated.

I don't think it would make much of a difference in intake temps.
Unless you have the throttle body coolant lines still hooked up, which I would remove anyways.

I think OBX used to make a throttle body spacer, but it was aluminum.

Oh right, I forgot haha.

In that case, I don't know if anyone makes that for the SR.

If you really want one, I guess it wouldn't be too hard for a machine shop to make up.

Haha, that's the spirit!

The material probably won't matter, since that area probably won't see much heat.
As long as it isn't flimsy, it should work.

Phenolic spacers work pretty good, the subaru guys love them too.

The one that goes between the intake manifold and the head definitely work.

I have one on mine and it isn't as hot as it used to get after a day's driving.

You can also talk with Rich at Xcessive. He would most likely make you one but it sounds like you have got your own material so good luck!
