I'm really pleased with the results! The Seville blew a head gasket last week, so I dodged an expensive repair, though I would have gladly done it for that car.

Yep, so I'm driving it to Texas this weekend where hopefully it will find a buyer (and not another thief!). 2WD pickups are a tough sell when there's snow and ice on the road.

Do you know what he did to fix those deep scraches? And is the whole truck getting repainted?

Sounds like you came out a little better on the deal now. Truck looks good though, too bad it's not 4wd but still a nice looking truck.

I would assume body filler with proper sanding since obviously all of the panels weren't replaced. I've seen body shops cover up some major blemishes with minimal body filler, i've even covered up some stuff myself and was surprised with the results.

I was wondering if he even needed to put bondo on or if he sprayed some filler primer to fill in the scratches if they werent deep enough

On the hood he used bondo for the base then topped it with a polyester filler. I didnt ask about the pillar but I assume it was the same method.
