Well i will just say this AZ...i have spoken with a legal party...not saying i got a lwayer..just spoke with someone via email...When i got the car the airbags had been deployed..I was never informed of any accident or a salvaged title of any kind...I still have yet to recieve the title so I cannot confirm whether it is a salvaged title...if it is...I have a case for consumer fruad. I will have toi wait to see the title though. I have several pieces of info i need to round up over the next few days and get to him. The only thing i wanted is to get what i bought..a running car that needed some tweaking done on it....not the case in point..however..he believes he can take me to court for all this stuff I am weriting on here..I am not familiar enough with the law to know if this is true or not...accordin g to him..everyone he has sold to is happy with their products and has not had any complaints...and is still stnding behind his work. My goal is to just be done with him..wash my hands of all dealings with him and finish the car...

Really dont think he has a case b/c if this post hurts his buisness its his own fault. He shouldnt sell ****ty parts/cars and expect people to not say that you suck and your business is **** b/c it its. It's just stating a fact.

Like I said, tell him "bring it on", 99% of people who threaten legal action don't know WTF they're talking about. If he knew what he was talking about, he'd know that SLANDER = spoken defamation. Duh.
In order to prove defamation, you have to be able to prove that what was said or written about you was false. If the information is true, or if you consented to publication of the material, you will not have a case. However, you may bring an defamatory action if the comments are so reprehensible and false that they effect your reputation in the community or cast aspersions on you. And that hasn't happened here. So he's got nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Take your ball and go home.
Our legal counsel just laughed when I ran it past him.
He can use what's posted on this forum in a court of law when I get my advertising money. Until then, it's our property and can't be used without my permission.
As far as everyone being "happy with their products"... well, that's false as well. "Selective recollection" is a *****, ain't it....

AZ..I will hit you up in the morning for that vin check..much appreciated...lets see what that throws out and if we get any red flags I will go from there. Thanks for all your help and input...I am def. not looking to get rich or anything..I just want what i bought. end of story. I would def. like to see more input from others who have dealt with him also..get their input as well...this post was already removed from one forum...they dont want any association with him at all.

AZ..hit me up when you get on today...got the vin number for you...spent yet another night in the garage with the car last night...got it to fire up....shut it down after a minute or so because i am getting some loud *** ticking noises from the head..almost sounds like a small block chevvy that has the rockers backed off all the way....too risky to run...it goes to my tuner in a week..he is going to go thru the motor and see just how "built" it is....the cost on this car will probably never end until its gone. peace out...D

The car is going to sit for now..I will not be doing anymore work to it. I got my carfax done and it wasnt good at all. I was hoping someone might know somebody who had been watching this car on ebay and might have a copy of the auction itself. any help would be appreciated. thanx guys...D
