I HAVE BEEN DOING ALOT OF READING ON ALL THE FORUMS LATELY...WISH I HAD DONE IT 2 WEEKS AGO...I JUST BOUGHT THE BOOST DESIGNS (PJ'S) SHOP CAR...I PURCHASED A RUNNING DRIVEABLE VEHICLE AND GOT A PILE OF JUNK. I HAVE READ WAY TOO MANY POST ABOUT PPL BEING SCAMMED BY BD. I THINK ITS TIME WE A GROUPED TOGETHER AND ADREESED THE SITUATION. I WOULD LIKE TO ORGANIZE SOMETHING TO TRY TO GET US ALL OUR MONEY BACK. LET ME KNOW WHO ALL HAS BEEN SCAMMED AND LETS GET SOMETHING DONE ABOUT IT. THANX D

BTW, ripping you off for a car is a violation of the lemon law. Searchg google for "lemon law" and you will be able to bring the authorities into it.

Um, no need to yell through your entire post..jk (TURN CAP LOCK OFF).Getting poor quality new stuff from a disreputable dealer is one thing, but buying a used car from someone regardless of being a parts dealer is another. In the used car market, let the buyer beware, you never know what kind of problems you are buying into. Sorry but unless PJ is warranteeing the car, if you missed the problems while looking it over or test driving it before you bought it, then its your problem.

I would have thought I could believe a "reputible" business owner and fellow 240 owner...I was told the car had 60 miles on it..He put them on it himself,. I specifically asked if the car was driveable, leting him know I had every intention of driving it to work the day after I received it..."NO PROBLEM" he say..just new plugs and change the oil. LMAO....not even..the car wouldnt run to save its life...but you know what..your right it's buyer beware....but whats goes around comes around...hope PJ remembers that. It all boils down to fruad....bigtime. and did I mention he stuck me with a 400 dollar shipping bill...no way....he isd a total crook...PERIOD!

Dam sorry to hear about that. You might want to email Greg and see if he can do anything concidering they were a sponsor at one time. Most likely you will have to file a lawsuit or go to small claims court. Don't see to many 240 owners in Indiana. I have a few friends from and around Kokomo.

OK...I am not allowed to speak the truth anymore..I am being threatened by a certain party with "slander". I do not feel like being sued for speaking the truth so i guess i will let a dead dog lie...I would like to say thanx to everyone for your thoughts and responses, I appreciate all of them. Well Morph..I politely asked him the day after I got the car to refund my money..told him it would be the right thing to do...he informed me that he had in no way mis represented the car to me and there would not be any kind of refund whatsoever....I am just tired of the email game with him..actually alot of this boils down to me needing information to get the car tuned by my guy here and he isnt willing to give any out at all...he says I insulted his intellegence and that he would not help me in any way shape or form...So..I guess i am on my own now...this car will end up costing me more than I will ever get outa it...lesson learned though...when someone tells you it needs "tweaked" its a totally unfinished project.

Whatever. Slander is almost impossible to prove. Tell him "bring it on".

I've kept every single email related to this party's business dealings (and have an entire file of email correspondence between him and other people as well), and honesty isn't his strong suit.

Apparently my turbo kit is "lost in space", since it was supposedly shipped over 3 months ago, LOL.
