i agree with joe, you kinda insulted us with that statement, i have no idea of what other post you made, what exact issues did or do you have ? people are not going to help someone who wont help themselves by searching for readibly info, dont get me wrong i enjoy being spoon fed, but realisticly it will not happen all the time..

Do you have a point to make, or are you being a whiny b****?

I'm not sure I understand your issue - Did you ask a specific question that no one knows the answer to? Why do you think you have a "car not worth mentioning"? Don't we all have S-chassis?

Your post confuses me.

Calm down man. The RB section here on nico is not as large as some other sections so I'm sure you will find out that patience will help yield you some great answers. Just remember the first rule of any forum, Search. Oh, and be sure to properly explain yourself. If something does need fixing don't leave us guessing.

Ok none of my questions were dumb... They were all valid . I have had guys correct me on my typing.... Thats understandable. I am doing my best to be clear in what I ask. I am an ASE cert tech I am just nervous when it comes to wiring. Sorry to ALL of the niconauts if I was offensive I have a brain to mouth prob. I am doing this swap and I'm stuck. The wiring write up I bought on ebay .... Joke ...??? And I looked for what I would need to fix the probs that I had... Couldn't find anything that was accurate to my car? So I am super sorry for sounding a lil' b****y This swap is not as easy as my sr lol. Just help me out guys

If you ask him nicely, CarlH knows his s***. He did my friend's wiring harness for him. As soon as we got our reversed fuel lines figured out, his car started at the turn of a key.

Well when I turn my key on my wipers go nuts until I change the switch position( to int or low). After that my wipers don't work on int.. and are the same speed on med and high?? I sold my sr20 to a guy from iowa and I gave him everything so I had nothing to reference this guys wiring. .. However he since has purchased a new harness already converted so I paid for him to ship the harness to me so I can look at it and fig it out? But if anyone has any ideas I'm open for sug?

P.S. I already gave dude pos fb but I said he was missing hella s***t so that might deter future buyers...

the best way to get help, is to ask

- clear - concise- descriptive questions. - with proper titles- and pictures of the trouble spot

and if that doesnt work... SEARCH

maybe if you didn't spend all your time b****ing and spend more time learning you'd be better off, or maybe you should just get a job and pay someone else to help you

I dont understand why this is in the rb ENGINE section but i would assume that the wiper switch is bad. have you tried back probing the switch connector to see if the switch is working correctly? if not search for a wiring diagram and see what each wire has coming out of it in different positions. Did this happen after installing the rb? The engine harness has nothing to do with the body harness.

Edit... there are only a couple wires from the body harness that connects to the engine harness.

I feel ya on everything you said. Im also...basicly ASE certified RB section is def. alot different than well anyother forum in general. Its almost a right to get answers....

Just wire them suckers to a toggle switch and break off the stick! Thats what i ended up doing one speed (slow)and RAINX.

Wiring blows...just make it work right. + switch/load - "relay" Done.

It isn't a right to get answers, but you will be hard pressed to find people who will spoon-feed you information. The reason for this is either A) they haven't searched (and it is painfully obvious) or B) the question they ask is very general and it kills interest in the thread because it could have a million different reasons for the problem.

In your case, it is the latter. You bought a wiring guide on ebay from a plagiarizing jackass who couldn't even get his own $hit in running order without spoon-feeding from myself. It isn't entirely your fault, but you didn't search on where to obtain wiring information from before you did the swap either. Everything you needed to know was on rbforums.org and FREE. If you still need help e-mail me, I will try to keep you from ghetto-rigging your windshield wipers.

And everyone stop with the ASE certification title-dropping. Nobody really cares and it doesn't add credibility.

Well the body harness has to tie into the main harness at some point...the switch is good the wipers worked fine on my sr20det that I just took out. and yes since the rb was put in they dont work right.

The engine harness combines with the dash harness at the F3 plug that the ebay guide tells you to repin. I just looked the guide it over and it is copied word-for-word from my writeup on rbforums. So at least it is correct. [Michael McDonough (sepulchrax), you owe me royalties btw. I accept paypal. ]

First things first, do you have a Series 1 or Series 2 engine?
