There's Impul then pretty much junk thereafter.

Presume the car is fully restored to as new OEM specifications for your family's safety?

yeah... cause impul's fiberglass is sooo much better than anyone else's.

admiration, bomex, impul, insurance, jp vizage, junction produce, wise (berhman), among others all offer 90-03 kits. personally i'm not a fan of any but there's something to get you started. 94-96 has much better options.

well, I know you were being sarcastic.. .and I hate to agree with Brian

But since I have an IMPUL body kit on my F50.....yeah, 'the fiberglass IS better'. When I took the kit in to the custom body shop to have it painted and installed, the owner asked if the parts were factory? I said no, aftermarket IMPUL. He said he had never seen such quality after market parts. This shop does a lot of low rider and custom work. I have never seen a straight stock car there. And granted I have not personally seen the other brands OFF THE CAR side by side to be able to make a comparision....but the guy was REALLY impressed at the overall quality of the IMPUL parts.

that is a valid point actually. although fitment and finish should be addressed every time (nothings perfect) i've seen some that were just plain unacceptable. not that working with fiberglass is hard but if you're paying a high end price you should get a high end part imo.

i personally hold impul in pretty high regard just because i like factory tuners.

my point was: hit some road debris and the same thing is going to happen to all of them.

AMEN AMEN!!

The IMPUL bumper is actually an ABS (??) of some kind, just like the origianal. I had a front end accident that I posted. we were able to "plastic weld" and repair the IMPUL bumper. It was cut all the way thru just at the grill and driver headlamp. To replace the IMPUL bumper was $1400 which progressive gave me credit for as opposed to the$380 for a factory bumper. I was able to have my guy repair it for much less.

i had never looked at the f50 impul kits in detail, but they are in fact urethane f/r with abs sides.

the g50 kits, on the other hand, are frp.
