The more I look around the more I find. I just found another kit that I haven't seen before:

A lot of the kits posted were made quite a number of years ago, and the styling really reflects that fact... G50s went out of "style" in japan after a while, but are now experiencing a resurgance in popularity, and so a lot of companies are now finally producing more modern-looking kits that are more subdued, and simple, and actually flow with the lines of the car a lot better. Kits like that tend to be timeless and will look good for quite a while.Aimgain's take on kouki G50:

The problem I've always had about the whole G50 era was the lack of integration of the front and rear bumpers.

Any body kit you attatch to the front bumper makes it look like a cow catcher.

IMHO if there was a way to at least make the front bumper disappear, that would make a world of difference. For example, when I had my E30 (BMW 325is), everyone in the car club wanted the euro spec front and rear bumpers to clean up the lines. Of course the E30 didn't have airbags to deal with, so that made it easier.

Anyone with a solution to the big bumper problem should post their idea(s).

This was my though exactly! It's also the reason that the Impul kit is my favorite of those shown in this thread.Unlike the rest of the kits, the Impul kit keeps the basic form of the stock bumper, which is a protrusion from the front of the car, not a solid vertical piece from the ground up. The lip and everything below the bumper need to be back behind the bumper in line with the grille and headlights in order to look right, IMO. This leaves the bumper to carry the strip/line at the midpoint of the car, and to accent the hood and headlights as stock, but it doesn't create the cattle-catcher slab of rubber than the other bumpers create.

Also, for some reason there are some kits (like the first JP kit posted far up in this thread) that look great on the 94-96 but don't look right on the belt buckle. I can't put my finger on exactly why...maybe it's the need for the grille to break up all the vertical surface.

As for the first kit posted, the side skirts on that LS are ridiculously bad. They look like someone put them on upside-down or something. The Q, alternatively, looks like a panting cow.

Why does this Q have exhausts on either side? My Q only has dual exhausts on the driver's side. Is that a custom Exhaust?

Yes that is custom to fit with the body kit.

On another note: After staring at my dream aero kit for the past hour (aimgain) I have come to the conclusion that it's the only kit for the G50 that matters

Session's web site:http://sessions-power.com/and looks like they got a Q45 specific kit now too:further supporting my theory that the G50 chassis is making a major comeback in Japan... Venus/V & V also has been building some bad *** G50s over there...

Can't help you there, I always roll the real deal. As an aeroparts designer myself, I have the utmost respect for others' creations. I do understand your peril with drifting and all though...

Question. IS this JP kit a cheap kit or a high quality one? Is it worth the $1700 they're asking for?
